OSRAM COOL BLUE INTENSE W5W halogen, license plate position light, 2825HCBI-02B, 12 V passenger car, double blister (2 unit)

Bought these for using in my 2005 Saab 9-3. They have a nice colour to them, more towards a nice white with just a very slight blue tinge to them. As with any Osram product quality is never a problem as they are built to a high standard. Definitely recommend these if you are looking for bulbs to match the likes of 6000k Hids headlight bulbs. Bought these in August 2017 and I havent had a problem with them yet (Now April 2018) Bought them along with Osram Nightbreaker lasers which are another great bulb aswell and they match them pretty well. Definitely can highly recommend these bulbs.

After doing some serious looking around to try and find a conventional type of bulb to replace the yellowing sidelights on my w211 E-Class Mercedes with I eventually decided on giving these a try. Though LED's are brighter and use less power, so therefore last longer, on any car equipped with the CANBUS system they're actually more of a pain to live with day-to-day. You need a resistor either included within the LED bulb itself or else an in-line one like the solution offered by Osram. The issue is that these resistors effectively absorb the additional 4 watts or so of power unused by the LED to (a) stop the LED from blowing and (b) keeping your dash error message free, and therefore they get hot, turning that additional 4W into heat. I didn't want the hassle of any of this but I still wanted a whiter light for my side/parking lights and that's where these come in. Cheaper than LED's they are properly 5W rated and therefore don't cause any issues with the system that detects blown bulbs. Though shorter lived than standard bulbs (the light that burns twice as bright, burns half as long after all!) they are at least brighter and more white by a very long way than the standard fit items I previously had. After installing them I switched them on and noticed at once how much brighter, whiter and clearer the light they produce is, so for the money (cheaper than LEDs) and for their ease of use I have to say I'm very happy with them so far. Ok they might not last as long as the stock ones, but they will be brighter and better while they do, so I can live with having to replace them a little more frequently to be honest. As long as they live up the usual Osram quality then I'll be satisfied. Recommended for their value for money, ease of use and brighter light as promised.

Honestly, VERY GOOD LIGHTS! These side-lights are SUPER BRIGHT, so if that’s what you’re after, don’t look at any other product! They meet the high Osram standard and are worth all £5 (plus a few pence). Not sure how long they will last as I’ve only just put them in today, but another reviewer said he’s had them in 8 months and their still going strong! DID I MENTION THEY’RE SUPER BRIGHT! I will say, if you’re after blue tinted side-lights, these aren’t for you (that’s why I only gave 4 stars). Unfortunately, they put out a brilliant white light, no sight of blue at all really. I think that’s to keep them road legal though, so I’m happy with that. Bye the way, DID I MENTION THEY’RE SUPER BRIGHT! Hope that helps guys!😎

Great Sidelights, standard fit, so should fit most cars. They go great with the 4200k Osram headlight bulbs, as shown in the pictures. The colour is white and looks far better than the standard bulbs. I am impressed with the lights and would recommend to anyone who wants to improve the look of their car in the dark. The last photo is both these bulbs and the 4200k Osram bulbs looking very white (no filters were applied).

I use it for my Corsa c parking light, work fine for me as long as it’s road legal. never fail by MOT, so it’s legit I guess. Previous pair last me about 2-3 years until one of the bulb failed, then I purchased this one to match the other bulb. However when I try to replace the faulty one, it came back to life. So I returned it for a refunds. Great little product that will last for a long time.

Only tried in the daylight. And I have to say they appear to be considerably whiter than the horribly yellow std. Mercedes CL500 bulbs. And they look sharper and more powerful than the std. very yellow dim candles. :):) Note the experienced Mercedes technician also thought they looked whiter and more powerful. And he too felt they might look considersbly better at night. I have a good feeling they will look significantly whiter blue at night. Happy with purchase. And would buy again ... I just winder how long they last. Note I have to be fussy as its a pig to change them on my CL500. Up on a ramp, front and middle engine underprotector off. Same for left but one has to remove the inner wheel arch liners ... both front and middle! I hours labour at £135 plus vat. To change a sidelight bulb.

I bought these to accompany the Night Breaker lights in my low beams. They are a perfect accompaniment providing nice white light however do be aware if you have clear headlight screens like I do you'll defiantly see the blue tinting on the bulbs when not switched on which for me was less than ideal (looks a little boy racer when I'm just after quality bright white light!).

They give a nice bright, white light – a definite improvement. Easy to fit and seem to last. End of the day a bulb is a bulb..

Para empezar el anuncio dice que es doble blister, y solo viene uno con dos unidades. En cuanto a la iluminación, deja mucho qué desear, pues es muy baja y no es tan blanca como prometen.

Aunque siempre he sido un fan de las lámparas PHILIPS, me decidí por estas OSRAM tras fracasar en mi intento de montar unas LED de posición de 6000K de PHILIPS que, desafortunadamente, no fueron compatibles con mi coche, un Mercedes S500 W220 que llevaba faros bixenon. Esas LED PHILIPS acabaron en mi 2º coche, un Mercedes A160 W168 donde lucen "demasiado" tanto en intensidad como en color, dado que actúan junto a halógenas convencionales de calidad (PHILIPS Extreme Vision)... y tal vez tenga que desmontarlas para pasar la ITV. La lección aprendida es que nunca debí adquirir luces de posición LED y peor aún si eran de más de 4000K, dado que la alternativa en halógena convencional Cool Blue de OSRAM es francamente buena, no sólo en un perfecto blanco de 4000k sino también en intensidad lumínica. De hecho, son más blancas y naturales que las LED PHILIPS de 6000K y encima son legales y mucho más económicas, al margen de no tener que preocuparme por su compatibilidad. Mi única preocupación es la duración, así que el tiempo dirá... Me han gustado tanto que tal vez me anime a probar otras OSRAM, las OSRAM Night Breaker de las que hablan tan bien. Tendré que esperar a se fundan las actuales halógenas PHILIPS Extreme Vision, de las que no tenga queja en cuanto a su fantástica iluminación, pero que sin duda tienen un color bastante más amarillento... Por el momento, completamente satisfecho con las OSRAM que recomiendo con 5*

il che le rende delle lampade di qualità assoluta ben fatte e durature nel tempo, ma fanno anche una luce molto gradevole Luce non troppo forte da scadere nel cattivo gusto come la maggior parte delle persone che seguono la tendenza di montare lampade di colore blu o troppo potenti (tutte illegali tra l'altro). Luce bianca ma non troppo. Di certo non è la luce gialla fastidiosa Da notare che si tratta pur sempre di lampade NON OMOLOGATE per la circolazione stradale, neanche per illuminare la targa! (anche se la maggior parte delle persone ignorano questo aspetto) Io le uso per illuminazione interna, luci pozzanghera (sotto lo sportello una volta aperto) e luci di ingombro (al lato dello sportello una volta aperto) Tutti punti per i quali il codice non prevede alcun obbligo particolare Da non usare come luci di posizione, diurne o porta targa
