Good quality product, once installed into your hammock and you know the right way to tighten and loosen, these save a lot of time when setting up.

Quick and easy quality set up
Speedy delivery. I bought this setup to go with my DD Travel Hammock. The Whoopie Suspension System is a quick and easy way to put the hammock up without damaging the trees, and makes it easy to adjust the tension. The tree hugging bands are strong, have good quality stitching and are of a good length. The Amsteel sytem is brilliant as well, and makes adjusting the tension effortless! Although no directions are supplied, a quick visit to the DD Hammocks website and YouTube provided good videos on how to use this system. This was the first time I had used a hammock, and although it was raining and windy, I slept like a log. The hammock did need tightening up for the following nights sleep, and this was done in SECONDS!If you are a novice to hammocks like I was, the Whoopie Suspension System is ideal. I would highly recommend this product.

Perfect - No tree damage, easy to use and lightweight
These slings do exactly what they say on the tin. They don't damage the tree at all. They're light weight, they're easy to use, they look good too. They're strong enough to easily hold up my fat body at 115kg too so that's a bonus.

Another excellent and well thought out product from DD
Well thought out and very robust. A good length too, longer than many others on offer, which means you can go round once and clip the Caribina into the loops for a big tree, or fold in half and clip through the loops and the halved belt for a smaller circumference. This is good, as smaller / younger trees have weaker bark, which means you are effectively spreading the load better over the surface. Be nice to the trees you are hanging off!Caribina is surely and light with a good Spring-gate, ideal for one-handed use (hauling up your hammock with the other hand). The colour is nice and unobtrusive too, and blends nicely into the woodland, which I prefer.Packs down small too, so i leave them attached to the lines on my hammock, and stuff them into the ends of the snakeskin, ready to deploy all in one go, meaning I know my hammock kit is all in one stuff sack.

Game changer
Great product. I was told that it would make setting up my hammock easier and at first I wasn't convinced, then I brought it and have not looked back since. Making adjustments to your set up is so easy now. The only thing I would change is make the tree huggers longer

You need these.
Bought as an upgrade for the DD Travel hammock.OK, I'm not a hammock expert, but you need these.I bought these before my hammock had even arrived and before I had hung my hammock for the first time I'd changed out the standard cordage to the whoppie sling, and I'm glad I did.First, I questioned the price.... Seems a bit steep, it isn't!before I bought I searched everywhere trying to make up the kit for cheaper, simply can't do it, I found the tipping point to be the carabineers. Climbing grade don't come cheap, at 14 stone I needed carabineers rated at an absolute minimum of 200lbs braking point, but they would be risky, so it was £12 per carabineer just to be sure. Then whoppie slings from a UK independant supplier £16 for a set (of 2), finally a decent set of tree straps is £12.So, yes, it's pricing is competitive.Second, if you've never hung a hammock before (like me), then you may struggle with hanging heights, until you learn roughly your average need to hang to keep you of the floor.... That entails tying and untying, I watched my friend do his about 4 times.... Nah, that's not for me, whoppie slings, just pull them. BOOM!My first hang was wrong, I pulled it tighter, didn't have to untie a single thing, that was it, first hang competed in 5mins (hammock only, tarps another story completely....)Third, they are super light and take up less room.Don't consider it, just buy them.So why only 4*? Personally, a 5* product needs to prove itself in duration and I've not had these long enough or tested to talk about long term durability... So I'm keeping a star just in case.
