Double Duty Strengthening Base and Top Coat, 13.3ml

I love Sally Hansen products and this is no exception. For me, the handle is a bit slippery and awkward to hold, so I just wrap a small elastic band around it to give it some grip. The brush is a good size and length for a really decent application, and you can do the 3 strokes per nail thing. It dries quickly, as long as you haven’t used too much, and it gives a pretty, natural look on its own. As a base coat it’s brilliant, and it really does prevent dark colours from staining your nails, and gives the polish something to stick to. As a top coat, you get a lovely level of shine and it does reduce wear along the edge and chipping, especially if you use it under the nail as well as on top. It will also smooth out and small imperfections, so if you have a slight fingerprint or maybe texture print from material in your varnish, they can disappear. One thing I would say is to wait for each coat of base coat, varnish, and top coat to dry completely before moving onto the next to get the best results. All-in-all a great product. Happy to recommend.

This is really strengthing which is why I ordered this for a second time. Easy to apply. My nails are definitely stronger since I used this and due to the fact that is is both a base and top coat saves money on buying seperately. Good value for money!!!

Great product at a great price

I purchased Sally Hansen Double Duty In the hope that it would be a wonder product. It is marketed as an undercoat base coat and top coat and can be worn alone. I found if I used it as an undercoat/base-coat and then applied nail varnish and then applied it as a topcoat this meant that the nails would kind of congeal and the polish didn't last very long it was almost as if the topcoat melted the nail polish. Took ages to dry as well not helpful. Also I don't see that it would last very long or be good value for money - as soon as you've opened and began to apply the product starts to congeal inside the bottle. And application becomes difficult because the product has congealed. Used alone as a clear polish, function is okay but then again because the product congeals soon as you start using it it's not very helpful or pleasant to use. I also noticed that when I use this product for a couple of weeks on and off the quality of my nails started to deteriorate so I don't think it's healthy for the nails. Won't be purchasing again and still on the look for a perfect base coat and top coat that doesn't congeal.

This always does wonders for my nails. Dries so quickly, perfect to use underneath and on top of gel polish to lock it in, I like to use with no colour as well to strengthen my nails and protect them.

遺伝でもともと爪が薄く、曲がりやすい欠けやすい折れやすいの３拍子揃っていたのですが全部解決してくれました。まず乾くのが本当に早くて助かる。一度塗りでツヤツヤに。 仕事上どうしてもキーボードを長時間打鍵するのですが、塗りなおしを忘れて仕事してると欠けたりヒビ入ったりしてようやく塗り忘れてたことに気づくくらいの丈夫さです。ベースコートとして使っても上に塗るカラーはキレイに伸びます。 爪が弱い人に本ー当にオススメしたい！

Been using this Sally Hansen Double Duty base and top coat for a few weeks now and honestly, it’s pretty great.
