Osprey Farpoint 70L Men's Travel Backpack, Black

I’ve taken this backpack on two trips and it’s worked out great. There is room for a lot inside, though I recommend something like packing cubes to help with organizing the contents. There are handy straps inside for keeping stuff in place, and I like that one can adjust the straps a lot including putting them away entirely for packing away into a car or airplane. Super comfy to wear, though I’m probably borderline fat for the belly strap (a reminder to walk more and eat less on travels perhaps - I’m larger than most folks around the waist).I had one incident where one of the strap pieces came off while putting into an overhead bin, but I saw it happen and retrieved it. I’m not sure how to prevent this other than to be careful that straps don’t snag in that situation. Otherwise, for this price, a fabulous backpack that replaced two separate carryon pieces (courier bag and a cpap bag).TL;DR It’s a great backpack and inexpensive, felt secure out in public and never felt like stuff would get damaged or ruined or lost while out and about.

Sturdiest feeling backpack I've ever owned. I've only owned a few backpacks as an adult, but this one is by far the best feeling. It's currently not tested, because as of writing I've had it for approximately a week, and I've not worn it out. However, you can feel it's construction.This bag has a frame, which is new to me, all of my backpacks have been soft, with just canvas and other fabrics. This one has some sort of frame inside. This does keep it from collapsing, which could be an issue, but the whole point of this bag is that you're supposed to be able to fit everything in it for a short trip. This bag can do that. For me, I bought it because I'm a big guy, with big clothes, and I just need lots of space in my backpack.Not a super versatile EDC bag, but it is a very versatile travel bag. I'm using it as an EDC bag because it's big and I need that kind of space. However, if you don't need lots of space, probably get a 30L or less bag.

I absolutely love this backpack! It’s the perfect size for travel comfortable to wear and has plenty of well designed compartments. The Gopher Green color is great and it’s built to last. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable travel pack!

I guess these are a long known solution, but I only recently found this after searching for countless online hours reading reviews etc. I was wanting a heavy duty, well built carry on that could fit under my seat and was capable of carrying a long week's worth of clothes and supplies. This is extremely well built and more than roomy enough. I use packing cubes and it's perfect for that. I would prefer two smaller outside pockets rather than just the one, but the one is remarkably spacious. The laptop sleeve can also serve as an outside accessible pocket especially for book and file shaped objects. The compression strap geometry is perfect for making it as low profile as needed. The shoulder straps and waist belt are excellent, worthy of proper loaded hiking but also very welcome just in transit. The transition to stowing the straps and belts to briefcase carry takes 10 seconds, I carry as a backpack and stow straps going into and out of the gate. Highly recommended and built to last.

I normally will always go budget for traveling in general shopping for best deals and prime time to go places but there is one thing I am glad I spent a little money on. This backpack for 2-4 weeks travel is simply unmatched for the price and what you get. You get 55L in 2 backpacks that you can split for a day bag while on the go for picking up food, stashing a jacket or any souvenirs you buy while foot. And a bag clam shell backpack with great space management for the all basic needs for travel. Please get this if hate to check bags and want a catchall carryon for 2-4 weeks. Build quality is stellar, zippers are great, overall super comfortable to wear. You really can't find something for this price and with the warranty from Osprey its just a no brainer for me. 5/5
