It does the job and fixed the dripping taps and a lot cheaper than B&Q.

I bought this to fit to an old Cooke and Lewis mixer tap with a leaking hot tap. It fitted fine and stopped the leak which is great certainly a cheaper and easier option than changing the entire mixer tap. I only had one small issue and that was that the original cartridge has a slightly shorter spine shaft that the tap lever fits on, so it felt a bit loose. I solved this by adding a washer onto the shaft so that when the screw was tightened the hot tap lever felt secure. It works well and was a decent price and it proved to be a very easy job to do . . . . I have given this 4 stars not 5 only because I had to tweak it with the addition of the washer.

If you can identify your tap this is a quick & effective & cheap repair.

These are well made and fit snugly, at last no drips!Its tricky to measure existing valves whilst in situ even with a vernier gauge, might need to be a bit flexible as my measurements were a bit out which is probably my fault.Highly recommend.

Our hot water kitchen tap got stuck on full with no way to turn it off other than switch boiler off and isolate water at stop cock. A quick check showed these cartridges as pretty close to what we needed to replace in our generic kitchen mixer tap but couldn't fully check as original cartridge was stuck firm and I didn't want to remove without possibility of immediate replacement. Ordered these and delivered next day, a good bit of persuasion was required to remove old and once loose and out the new cartridge fitted perfectly.....no drips and shuts water flow off😃. Honestly we take water supply for granted until it doesn't work. To conclude it fits and works well, tap handle wasnt quite the great fit but a little help from thumper done the trick👍 Early days I know but if you have a generic mixer tap like me this could be your solution. Reason tap wouldn't close in first instance was washer completely came off of original, tap had been behaving sketchy prior to total failure so ignore these signs and find out🙄

The valve fitted well with no leaks and the splines matched the handle. However, the supplied screws were too short, so the old corroded screws had to be used again. Otherwise, a good quality valve.

It has fewer splines on the top bit than Franke taps. I should have checked, but assumed, as it was second on the search results, it would be standard ☹️
