Tired of trying to lean my bike against objects without it falling over and causing damage, I finally decided to buy/install a kickstand. I did a lot of research before finally settling on this one based on other great reviews. I am so glad I did as the quality of the kickstand really did exceed my expectations.The kickstand feels very solid and very well constructed. It has a strong/firm internal spring which closes the kickstand with ease.It is very easy to fit (metal plate and two different bolt lengths supplied), my bike didn't need the plate supplied so was just a case of choosing the right bolt and screwing in place. (NB the bolts will require an allen key to tighten) The length of the kickstand is adjustable without tools making it even easier to fit. All in all it took about 5 minutes to fit to my 'Giant' mountain bike.End result, a great unobtrusive kickstand which keeps my bike from the ground. I can't see why it won't last for many years. I love it so much I have just ordered another two for my wife and son's MB's. Highly recommended.

An excellent piece of kit. Well made, good looking and easy to install. I really liked it compared with the one I already have on my Mountain bike, particularly the way it adjusted and the colour. Unfortunately when I tried to fit it I found my hybrid bike had particularly small area where it would normally fit so I couldn't use it. I should have looked more carefully before ordering, but it would normally fit most bikes so I have no problem recommending it. I'll just have to change the one on my other bike!

This is a really good bike stand ,easy to fit on my Dutch style cycle, just kick it out to make it support my bike and then kick it back up again ,also adjustable.

Now have three of these on our bikes. Great kit, very solid, easy to fit, even easier to adjust and gives a solid clunk asit goes up an down so there is no possibility of trying to rest the bike on a half deployed stand. Highly recommended......edit after this original review i bought another one of these for another bike that did not have the prethreaded attachment point and used the 'long bike's method to attach it. This method is rubbish and must be the method used by others that complain of it never staying tight. Always getting loose and catching the pedals, now broken into many pieces, luckily not causing my daughter to fall of her bike. If the bolt was a little longer maybe a locking but could have been fixed in the bottom, but sadly, no. So I have docked a star for it not being as good as I thought originally, but it is still an excellent stand IF you have a threaded fixing on your frame, otherwise give it a miss.

Good product and it does the trick with my 29 inch wheeled heavy mountain bike. It was a bit fiddle to fit, because there were no written instructions. The pictures on amazon were not helpful, this meant it took me a couple of attempts to get it secured. In the end I popped the rear wheel off and found that I could fit it really easily. For the price I think its good value

I have quote a heavy bike, especially when loaded for work. Surprisingly it came without a kick stand, so I went for this one.It is very well made, stability is great too and also, the kickstand is very easy to fold / unfold thanks to the spring inside of it. Bear in mind that it is extendable, so don't forget to adjust for the appropriate height of your bike to improve stability.

This is a really nice stand, terrific quality and very easy to install and adjust the height. Looks smart and might cost a little more than most but I've bough another one as its so good!

Worked well for 5 months, then fell to bits! Aluminium is a rubbish metal to make a kick stand.

I bought an adjustable kickstand from Walmart about 5 years ago. It was awful, it felt very cheap, and it was never sturdy. I only kept it on because I was too lazy to go buy a new one and take the time to switch them.I’ve been meaning to buy a new kickstand for YEARS, but finally my “cheap” Walmart kickstand literally snapped in half this week, so I had to buy a new one. I ride my bike daily, so I need a kickstand.I paid $20 for the “cheap” Walmart kickstand which is almost double what I paid for this one. I got this one for $10.99 and I can’t believe how much better quality this kickstand is!!!It is made much better, it is stronger, has a much better adjustment system, it is like night and day.I can’t believe I procrastinated for years to buy something so useful. It also only took about 10 minutes to remove the old broken one and put the new one on.For $11 bucks, this is a no brainer.Great purchase.

This is an excellent kickstand for mountain bikes with large, 29 inch tires and awkward frames. I installed kickstand on an old 2014 Trek X-Caliber 6. I use this bike to ride gravel-based rail trails and I don't ride single-track trails, so the kickstand doesn't interfere with functionality of the bike. Installation was easy. Works great and the adjustable length a nice feature. The kickstand is made of metal and sturdy. Should last for many years. The kickstand makes the bike easier to store in my storage building and I don't have to lean it up against a wall or other bikes. Highly recommended for those who have 29er mountain bikes and need a kickstand.

This kickstand was easy to install, really easy to adjust, holds up the bike well, and has a nice comfortable spring action. Very satisfied with this purchase! Installed on a Kona mountain bike.

Es una excelente para de cabra para la bicicleta, me sirve mucho, y con su función de ser ajustable se adapta perfectamente a mis necesidades. El único detalle es que queda cerda del pedal cuando está recogida, y a veces cuando me pasó le doy con el pié al darle a atrás al pedal para ajustar la posición de los mismos.A veces me gustaría haberlo adquirido para ponerlo en la llanta trasera, pero por desgracia no encontré uno similar a éste pero para la llanta trasera acá en México.En cuanto a la instalación quité una estrella, por que tuve que comprar un tornillo más largo para que agarrara los tubos en mi bicicleta de montaña, el tornillo de ajuste que trae inicialmente es muy corto, pero encontrar el adecuado es fácil en la ferretería, otro detalle que tiene en la instalación y es por lo que quité la segunda estrella en la parte de instalación, es que al ponerlo es bastante agresivo con la pintura y el metal, pela el metal al estarlo apretando, ralla la pintura y llega a rayar incluso el aluminio. De ahí en más no le veo muchos detalles más en la instalación.Por lo demás me ha servido bastante y se ve reforzado, perfecto para que dure unos cuantos años, y a pesar de que tengo ya tiempo usándola en la montaña, no se ha aflojado ni vibra, y el plástico de la punta de la pata ha durado, así que se nota la calidad del producto hecha para durar unos cuantos años, así que no le veo prácticamente ningún contra.En resumen, vale la pena la compra y sirve bastante, claro, si no tienes problemas con el peso como yo, pero si eres un fanático del peso, normalmente dejan su bicicleta extra cara tirada en el suelo para ahorrar esos gramos, pero en mi caso no veo ningún problema.

I recently bought a brand new bike, a Del Sol LXi Flow 2, that did not come with a kickstand. My bike is Charcoal Grey and has a lot of Chrome/Silver and I did not want a Black kickstand. I also tend not to like many of the adjustable types, but I found this one and gave it a try. It fits the bike perfectly, is easy and super quick to adjust, and is very well made and sturdy. Also, it matches the bike with it's Aluminium/Chrome/Silver color. I had bought another one locally that ended up slightly rubbing on my back tire, but this one does not rub anywhere. Overall it is a great kickstand, a great value, and I am pleased with this purchase.
