From the instant these arrived I was blown away.The Bluetooth range is easily over 5 meters even through doors; plenty for whatever you need to be doing. With line of sight it can reach to the other side of my front room with ease. The sound quality isn't quite as good as my Sennheiser CX300s but that's comparing a £35 wired earphone with a £15 wireless one. The bass can be a bit on the weak side but that can be compensated for by an EQ on the phone, the trebles are again a bit less crisp than the Sennheisers as are the highs. This leaves the sound a bit echoey and muddier with a weaker bass. This can all be ameliorated; turn on an EQ suited to your music and this is able to bring the Breton's within spitting distance of the Sennheisers.That means a wireless earphone can draw close to a wired one that is 2.5x the price. This is a seriously impressive bit of kit for the money.I haven't tested the battery life yet but so keep that in mind but as it stands I am happy to recommend these. Don't expect the sound quality to match a £100 pair of headphones but if you are looking for above average audio quality in a wireless earphone that doesn't break the bank you can't go wrong with these.EDIT:After using these for a few days it seems the drivers have been worn in a bit and the audio quality has improved. I think they sound better than the sennheisers, the echoey muddy tones have been replaced by crisp clean sounds. The bass is now booming and no longer hard to hear.The use over a few days has brought to light one major problem: battery life. I can't seem to get more than 3.5 hours out of them. Not sure if I have a dud or if the battery life has been misrepresented. The amazon page says 8 hours but the packaging says 5. Either way it should be more as 3.5 hours is barely enough for my commute and gym session.If I paid more than £15 I'd be dissapointed but as they're so cheap I can't really complain.

I have enjoyed using these sharp-looking earphones since late 2017. Their comfort makes them great for running, and secure fit good for inversion exercises. They have a decent bass-heavy sound, but this occasionally ventures into distortion if the volume is stretched; as you would expect from something at this price. The sound is good enough to be enjoyable, though.Unfortunately as of late, the earphones have begun to deteriorate. A major issue has arisen with the Bluetooth connectivity. The headphones only work properly if the right earbud (likely the one with the Bluetooth receiver in it) is kept close to the signal source. Turning to the left makes the sound cut out completely, while at a short distance of around 2 metres, audio cuts in and out in intervals of about 3 seconds. This happens regardless of the charge level.This must be a malfunction with the Bluetooth receiver, which makes me question its quality. I use Apple AirPods Pro for less physical activities, which have a far superior signal quality (with AirPods, you can venture about 15 metres away with the sound remaining clear). This is inconvenient: I can't always have my phone in my pocket; especially if I'm training in the gym, doing yoga on the floor, cycling with my phone in my backpack, or running with my phone in my left hand.You may get two years of hassle-free use out of this product, but it may be worth looking elsewhere if you want something with lasting quality.

Betron BR74 Bluetooth Earphones Sports Headphones for Runnning, Cycling, Gym, Fitness and more These bluetooth earphones are excellent in terms of build quality and the sound they produce - they connect effortlessly to my phone and the music plays without out issue. The fit is secure and the battery life very good - roughly about 6 hours.However, there is a BIG downside to these earphones...... if like me you exercise using a bluetooth smart watch (for example an Apple watch) then you will experience significant and very annoying breaks in the sound if you have paired to your watch and listen to music from there - so you can run/walk/jog/cycle etc without taking your phone. Unfortunately, this happens if you wear the watch on the left wrist and if you are walking or running and your left arm drops to your side or swings behind you then you lose the connection - it likes buffering for the bluetooth age.This is really really frustrating - and to overcome the issue I have to wear the watch on my right wrist so the watch stays 'in sight' of the right hand ear piece which houses all the electronics..... this is a major flaw with these earphones and one I have never encountered with other sets made by different manufacturers.Betron - I have bought many of your products and they have always been great and worked well - that was one reason I came back to you for these, It is very disappointing to see your usual standards slip.Three stars due to the quality of the build and sound re-production.... but they are almost unusable due to the defect. Surely product testing/quality control should have caught this basic problem before going to market.

Good morning,I’m hoping for some help and advice with my BR74 earphones. I bought them just over a year ago and now I’m having issues charging them. You have to play and tweak the cable to get them to charge? I have tried using another Betron cable and plug but I get the same issue, which leads me to believe that the fault is in the socket within the earphones. Please can you advise me on how I can rectify this issue? I absolutely love these earphones and use them everyday, I’ll be lost if I can no longer charge them.This is not an email of complaint, I’m just looking for help. I’m a big fan of Betron products and this is my sixth Betron purchase between item for myself as well as gifts for my family.
