Manfrotto PIXI EVO is a good quality product
This Manfrotto PIXI EVO works well. The quality is excellent, just as it always has been with Manfrotto products. Compared to the original PIXI smaller tripod, the legs of the PIXI EVO are a bit flimsier. I usually use this kind of mini tripod to support smartphones, sports cameras, and small point-and-shoot cameras. Its rigidity is sufficient, and the longer legs with a wider spread provide good stability in windy environments.

Very sturdy tripod
Very sturdy tripod, very well built. Lightweight. I have no complaints. I have used it with a Fuji X-T2 and a 16-80 lens and it is stable

Pricey, but pretty good
Certainly not pocket-size, but this is a very useful tripod, offering a range of adjustments for large DSLRs and mirrorless cameras down to compacts and action cameras. Quality seems good, comprised as it is of a mix of tough plastics and metal. The swivelling ball-head loosens and locks with a single screw and this holds a full-frame mirrorless with a 24-105 lens adequately, but it certainly doesn't feel as solid as a high-end ball-head - there is a small amount of movement when the camera is allowed to settle and rest after tightening. The legs can be extended independently (to account for uneven surfaces) into four clickable positions. There are also two settings for the spread angle of the legs (wide and not so wide), selectable using a slide switch on the main body of the tripod. This is essentially the means of adjusting the height and the range is 10 - 19 cm - but not all heights within this range are possible. It would have been nice to have greater heights possible by narrowing the legs further, but I suspect this would compromise stability when using a heavy camera. With a small action camera it is still possible to use the friction of the leg hinges to narrow the leg spread and achieve greater heights. The camera mounting bracket is good with a large gripped wheel and a rubber pad holding the camera in place.Overall, I am happy with the purchase but the price is probably a little high. I am not aware of a cheaper alternative of similar quality though

Simple but solid
This tripod is quite expensive considering the basic functionality of it. However, it's solid and does the job it's designed for well. The ability to change the height, both through the length and angle of the legs is handy.

Has quality written all over it (not literally !)
If you're after a quality tripod which you can use in table top situations or for when you're lying down then this is the tripod to get. It's a well engineered item with extendable legs and a ball head which makes it incredible versatile. The two things I particularly like about this item is the horizontal wheel which you can use to tighten or release the 0.25" thread mounting screw (something which Manfrotto should make standard across their range now I've had a chance to try it) and the fact you can also put the device you're mounting in portrait mode easily with the ball socket. The two features which make it stand out in it's class (for me) is the fact it can take a 2.5kg load - far more than other tripods in this class - and it has an ultra low mode of 10.5cm.In situations where space is at a premium then this device is the one to get, however there is another possibility - which if you may need a larger tripod in future, will mean you can "futureproof" yourself. Manfrotto's BeFree carbon tripod has the ability to mount the central stem BENEATH the tripod legs, so although your device will essentially be upside down, if you have a spotting scope etc which you can turn right angles, it will allow you to get as low as this device for the cost of a single item - but the downside being that the Manfrotto BeFree carbon weighs 1.4kg with head - this weighs 260g.The only downside for me on this item is that it doesn't come with a case - and you can't buy one either - none is available on Manfrotto's website:( Otherwise a brilliant little item which can also double as a selfie stick.

Great little tripod for travelling with, much better than Gorillapods
I had a ball'n'socket style mini tripod which I used to take on holidays and excursions (climbing, hiking etc) but I never really liked using it because it wasn't strudy enough. A friend had one of these PIXI EVO 2 tripods and as soon as I had tried it I had to buy one. It's perfect for the mirrorless APS-C sized cameras (I use mine with Fuji X100S and Sony A6500 with 17-40 lens) and it's also ideal for smaller cameras like my Sony RX100M3. I wouldn't go mounting a full frame DSLR on there, I tried with my Canon 5DMarkIII with a 24-70 but it's too heavy and unbalanced. If you like vlogging (not my thing) it is quite useful as a handle for the selfie mode on the RX100M3 and the ball head means you can get the perfect angle and lock it in place. The ball head is very very good unlike the one I had on the gorillapod this has replaced. It's a much more solid construction and locks tightly into place. The little switch on the side allows you to choose between wide leg and ultra wide leg mode and the legs themselves extend out to (from memory) three different lenghts. All this means that you can use this on the most uneven off ground and still get it level and solid.Very light and small when collapsed, easily slips into a camera bag of side pocket on a rucksack.

Expensive pricetag compared to alternatives. But you pay for quality
Expensive pricetag compared to alternatives (the flood of chinese tripod / camera stands). But you pay for quality. I've used this unit with my action cameras. It's compact and strong and quite weighty too, so wont blow over in the wind! The tripod base is wide and holds the camera or camera pole securely. I've adapted mine to take the RAM ball mounts. Still great condition.

Bad quality and wrong description
The quality of the product is quite bad, similar ones would cost between 5-10 euro on the web. It's very unstable too. In the description of the product it says the weight limit it supports is 5 kilograms, but on the package I received it says 5 pounds (so around 2.5 kilograms). I wouldn't dare putting an expensive device on top of this support.
