I purchased this for my 9 year old nephew who found it hilarious. Some of the jokes were a bit hard for him to understand, but the majority were fine. Plus, at the price, you can't really go wrong.

My grandson loved this

Grandsons happy. A sense of humour is a LIFE SKILL that Dahl mastered and passed on. The GIFT of laughter. No greater legacy to leave behind than loving admirers of his work. His ability to fuel laughter. And in this joke book, the ability to pass on that ability, by making others laugh too. Laughter shakes stress from the body, replacing it with the ability to relax and fall asleep more easily. Laughter provides a body workout without straining joints. It is quite safe - unless you fall off chair laughing! Ha Ha! Live, love, laugh and be happy.

Great book for our little reluctant reader. Bite size chunks to read and the humour kept him reading on and on to the next jokes. Ended up in his class talent show, either stand up career beckons or maybe a Christmas cracker joke writer.

Marvellous jokes? Bit of a stretch to call it that but my children enjoy it and that's why I bought it. References to Dahl's work in the jokes so ties in nicely if you've read his children's books.

The jokes are based off the multitude of Roald Dahl's books. Even if silly, the jokes are very amusing! Any true fan should have this book. It does the years you have spent reading (and re-reading) his books justice. You will thank me later.

The book is not the same as discription but like this version more! Looks more modernized tbh. Def recommend
