This was a gift for my son who just went out on his own but does not cook. I thought this would be a perfect gift for him, because he loves paninis and waffles. He absolutely loves this 3-in-1 grill, and he uses it every day. He says it is easy to use, makes perfect sandwiches, paninis and waffles, and is very easy to clean and maintain. A definite win-win.

***UPDATE: I have been in contact with the seller about this product and they were kind of enough to give a refund for the product. I even offered to send it back. Waffle maker sucked but they do make it right if it doesn’t meet your standards***ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have tried to like this waffle maker. Thought I was getting a good deal on a 3-in-1 waffle maker. Unfortunately, I’ve tried to make waffles twice and they just come out soft. The first time the bottom half of the waffle were a little brown but the tops were just pale and floppy. I tried again yesterday, left them in for about 20-25 minutes and they never even burned! Probably a great grill cheese maker but as a waffle maker, it’s a waste of time and money. Bought this for my husband for his birthday! We had 1 years ago and have no idea what happened to it! Found this one and ordered it! Just used it the other day! Works great, easy to clean! Love that the plates are removable and it came with added plates so now I can get rid of a couple of extra appliances and just use this one!

We tried out our waffle maker for the first time this morning, and we’re very disappointed. Our waffles never became the golden brown you expect a waffle to be. They never even came close to what the product picture shows. The product picture shows a deep well waffle with a blueberry in one of the squares but in reality, a blueberry would roll off the waffle. These waffles are not anything like what’s in the picture! After close examination of the sandwich, trays, I believe that too is falsely advertised. The product picture shows a beautiful thick sandwich on the grill when in reality, you might be able to get a grilled cheese sandwich or a grilled peanut butter sandwich but nothing like what the picture shows. I’m returning this product and will order a different one. I do not recommend anyone purchasing this item.

...for our daughter's family. They love grilled cheese and waffles. They were excited to receive this product. Very easy clean up with the removable plates. Make good sandwiches, but not enough for a family of 6. Someone always has to wait. But it is a good item and a value for your dollars. Needed today.
