Look smart, and work well.
Surprisingly enough made of steel, with a good quality brushed effect (uniform and easy to make out) and a lacquer finish on top to protect them. Absolutely brilliant quality, sized exactly as specified with a nice rubber grommet in the hole rather than those horrible hairy things you get most of the time.

SMART AS A SMART THING..
I used this on a 40mm piece of scrap oak worktop to have in my home office. These are sturdy and look smart as a smart thing.Really chuffed with the finished look.Value for money. Excellent.Easy to fit. Need a drill and jigsaw. Or splash out on a 60mm drill bit.

Look great.. From a distance
***PROs***- These definitely look the business, the brushed chrome effect looks really good against a darker desk.- The price point is excellent for a pack of 4***CONs***- I measured these to have closer to a 58mm diameter with 1mm plastic securing fins. As I had a already purchased a 60mm holesaw, I persevered and cut the holes. No surprise that the Grommets therefore had a little bit of wiggle to them and would lift out in daily use. I cured this with a bit of Epoxy Putty.- The build quality is exactly as you would expect at the price, if you look closely in my picture, you can see that the brush segment doesn't sit well inside it's well. A bit of fiddling makes it look cosmetically satisfactory but in my scenario, they are at the back of my desk and from a distance look great, so I left them as is.***NOTES & CONCLUSION***Ideal for a home desk application, especially if used with a 58mm holesaw to give them a snug fit out of the packet. They also look pleasing on the eye and this was the primary motivator for our purchase. These are flimsy and formed cheaply, so I would avoid in any scenario that will require the lid to be regularly removed to add/remove cables, as I can imagine the plastic catches not proving up to the job. Definitely not suitable for any hot-desk arrangement.

Great product, would recommend
Bought to tidy up some stray cables, fittings seem well made and look smart. After reading previous reviews I bought a Makita 59mm hole saw Makita D-35499 Makita Hole Saw 59Mm Bim - Multi-Colour NOT a 58mm, you'll need a holesaw arbor if you don't have one already, I done a test install on a piece of spare wood and committed, very pleased with the results, would recommend!

Most people only need one but super neat people like you and me want four
Ordered on Monday arrived on Friday, pack of 4 die cast metal Cable tidies, most people only need one but super neat people like you and me want four, I have uploaded a couple of photo's (because a picture is worth a thousand words) The first one using a flash, you get a super shiney look, the second one without a flash you get to see I wiped my grubby prints off.... A very nice brushed chrome finish. As you can see each one disassembles into three parts, an outer ring that once inserted into your desk is there to stay, but the cover can be twisted out to pass bulkier items through (2 pin or 3 pin plugs) third part is a small brush attachment that will tighten around your cables to stop toast crumb falling on your floor (I'm assuming I'm not the only one!).These are NOT flexible or bendy, they cannot be forced into a slightly egg shaped hole, so if you buy these or any other bear in mind you need a perfect 60mm hole, lucky for those of us that cannot draw circles like Leonardo Da Vinci, you can buy a 60mm hole saw.If you want a classy look to your desktop everyone is going to admire, this is the way to go.

ok but be warned that you will need 58mm holesaw
these seem good quality but very misleading as holesaw should ve 58mm not 60mm. i have a 60mm and the fitting was loose therefore had to pack it.not happy to be honest as this should have been stated.

Good size, good quality, removable inner circle piece, but do check beforehand plug sizes first!
Good size, good quality, removable inner circle piece is very handy for pushing slightly larger plugs, but do check beforehand to avoid problems! Slots in nice and tight into the holes in our wooden desk, but also pretty easy to remove if need be. No complaints, look like they should last a lifetime.

Quality item
Not used or fitted yet, but have to say when i opened them i was suprised at the quality feel and look. Very smart item, aperture will allow a few small cables such as phone charger or maybe 1-2 larger cables such as monitorsetc. Good Value Item
