Vitamin C Powder 50g - Pure BP Grade | Packaging May Vary

I think it’s a great product at a great price. I had 3 blood clots followed by pneumonia. The doctors were amazed I pulled through just fine and one said “I must have a guardian angel.” Another joked that he wished he had a body as strong as mine. What I didn’t tell them was that I took MASSIVE doses of vitamin C continuously for a week. I read that this saved a New Zealand farmers life. He was dying of pneumonia and the doctors said they could do nothing. Vitamin C saved him. Can I just make what I hope is a constructive criticism? I bought the kg bag. It’s a real pain to open it, scoop out the vitamin C, which coats my arm, measure it out and then reseal the bag. It puts me off taking it. It would cost almost nothing to provide a cardboard pillbox a couple of inches high, which could be filled every few days or even once a week.

Came well packaged and quickly. I use it for my horse so it is great to have it in bulk. I use it instead of vaccinating her even more for flu (as all the horses that started the equine flu outbreak were vaccinated). It makes much better sense to bolster the immune system to withstand a bug rather than injecting with substances that can, over time, deplete the immune system. My mini rant over!

I have used other brands before this, over almost a year now. This one seemed very different. I'll update my review later on maybe. It seems we need FAR less of this than with what I've had of others. FAR less than is common for vitamin C therapy. Not sure if I like this at all yet, as it did make me feel unwell. Will see.Edit: ok I've changed from trying to be polite, to being honest and considerate of the manufacturer. From a generous 3 stars to a one. I was initially pleased to buy and support a U.K company, but please try other brands as well as this if you wish..because you may well miss out on how good vitamin C therapy is. Like others have said, this is not a tangy taste like usual C has (I find it has a chemical taste). Also I had my first asthma attack in about 7 months after switching from my old vitamin C to this brand. Peak Supps say themselves that this is the purest vitamin C in the description. I don't care whether its U.K Pharmaceutical grade, if it's not a good product then that's what it is. And I base that on how it makes me feel, and has for about a week.Maybe I was unlucky. ..I don't think so tho. I am returning one of the unopened packs..and throwing the other one away very likely, as I got my previous brand delivered recently to componsate for this.Sadly, if people find they only need very small doses of this (compared to how Vitamin C is commonly used) as it is so potent in this case, then people may well miss the all round benefits that a tangy great vitamin C product has.I believe this may be my first ever negative review, but it has to be done.At the very least I'd recommend comparing different products so that a great quality Vitamin C can be distinguished easily from a bad one. As I said, maybe I was unlucky, but I don't think so.

I have purchased this to help with detoxing and improving my skin from spots, blemish and open pores which seem to be worse as I’ve got older!!OMG the difference is incredible my skin looks so much clearer, the pores are tiny now and and Black heads gone!! I can’t believe the difference. I have upped my water intake which I’m sure has an impact as well as I mix 1/4 teaspoon of the powder in my water bottle fill with 500ml and drink I consume 3 - 4 of those a day, but you need to build it up gradually as it can effect the digestion a little in which case cut back.I’ve been taking it for 3 weeks now, and when I feel there are no more visible changes I may reduce the quantity, there’s loads of conflicting information regarding appropriate amounts of vitamin c to take and most keep the quantities very small, hence never having an effect before there’s also plenty of articles supporting taking larger quantities that are worth reading if you have concerns .Don’t bother with expensive creams and concoctions stick to pure unadulterated vitamin c nothing added.i will definitely purchase more once this has run outThis is soluble in water and appears to dissolve very quickly.Excellent packaging and speedy delivery

I am very satisfied with this L-Ascorbic Acid product. In the past, I have always taken vitamin C in tablet form. Now, for the first time, I am supplementing with ascorbic acid in powder form. This way, I can take much higher doses, not only because it is much cheaper, but also because it is so much easier to take. Apart from the expense, it would not be very pleasant to have to swallow all that vitamin C in tablet form.I have been told on good authority that L-Ascorbic acid is the real deal. There is much controversy at the moment about the whole vitamin C molecule; but to take vitamin C by the gram as a whole molecule would be very difficult, because one would have to consume far too much fructose, and that would overload the liver.I highly recommend this product, which I understand is pharmaceutical grade, and a British product to boot. I shall definitely be re-ordering the product in the future, also because the service was second to none.

I have used vitamin c powder for years so I know exactly what it's like and its effect. This product does not taste anywhere near as sharp/acidic as other brands. The crystals are also bigger so harder to dissolve. I would love to see an actual analysis of what is in this as it doesn't seem quite right. Will not buy this brand again.
