Q: Why has this only lasted two weeks?

You probably forgot to reset the filter counter on the prep machine

Q: Is this compatible with tommee tippee closer to nature prep machine?

It is supposed to be compatible but I found that it didn't let water through so I sent mine back for a refund

Q: Missing sticker on the top. Worried this is second hand/already used.

If they are new they should arrive in a box and sealed in a white plastic packet, i believe the filters with the stickers are the older model filters.

Why would this have batteries? They are replacement filters to go inside the tommee tippee prep machine and will be submerged in water. The prep machine itself has a 3 prong plug which you plug in in your house, eg kitchen or bedroom.

Buy it not replica.

Before it, I used replica. Nope. Buy it. Replica normally last not so long. This one last for 3 months. It's worth for money and it's for baby!It's fit very well in my formula maker when replica wasn't good fit.Strongly recommend this replacement.

I find these replacement filters really handy, especially since I have two Perfect Prep machines! one upstairs and one downstairs. Each filter lasts about 4 montgs with regular use, which is pretty convenient. I trust Tommee Tippee as a brand, and swapping the filters is super simple and mess-free. I know there are compatible filters out there but I only trust the original ones, I would not mess with my baby's digestive system! These filters give me peace of mind when preparing feeds, and having a steady supply means I’m never caught out. Definitely a must-have if you already have the Perfect Prep machine.
