4 Pack of Rubber Door Stop Wedges

They were good value, sturdy, worked as they should do

Very useful to stop fence panels rattling.

During summer, in order to remain cool in my flat, I have to open windows and doors. The problem with this is that the slightest of air movement will cause one or all of the doors to move, pick up momentum and eventually slam. I ordered these to prevent this from happening. Unlike some people, I received the product that was advertised: A four-pack of rubber door wedges that are suitable for heavy doors.The blister pack is easy enough to open but, when you do, a strong bitumen-type smell hits you square in the nostrils. These are probably the stinkiest wedges outside of the cheese trade. Thankfully a combination of acclimatisation and wearing off of the smell has made them less offensive over time.How do they perform? Pretty well. As you can see from the pictures, they have hemispherical grips on the bottom to help them grip a hard floor in a kind of suction-cup manner. Even a concerted effort to push the door with this wedged underneath would not shift it.In summary: Kind of stinky, but they work. A star was lost because of the initial smell.To those who did not receive the listed item, I bought via Amazon Marketplace from Cutesale.

I ordered these door stops to wedge open internal doors whilst being varnished, so not necessarily needing, or expecting, a robust product as they would probably be a one time use - much sturdier than expected, nice thick rubber which fits underneath and holds the door perfectly. So sturdy, I will be able to re-use at least one for the "home office" as a standard piece of equipment going forward!They were delivered by Royal Mail in the midst of the pandemic, so arrived a day or so later than advised, but not an issue. There was a note on tracker to advise they were running late - no delivery date given.I cant comment on durability as only received today and DIY project not completed yet!

Ok for just gently propping open a door. I can see it taking much force

It doesn't slide out of place (you have to push the door wedge under the door then put your foot on the thick side of the door wedge and push the door towards yourself to ensure the door wedge holds the door in place without sliding) I have to say, it is plastic but it still works. I don't think it's heavy duty. Good but feel a bit soft like they may not lady as long as others. But suitable for office and home
