My 16 yr old loves science and magnets, so this was purchased as a stocking filler for him. I’ve had a little play with it before wrapping it up for Christmas. It’s quite small, but he will love it. It’s quite interesting to watch the difference when you put it on the magnetic base and see the little spikes formations.

Great desk ornament
Bought this as it was only a few pounds, so excellent value for money. It is small, so check dimensions. The iron takes about 20 seconds to fall through the glass, but did produce a mesmerising affect.

Esthetically pleasing
The media could not be loaded. Its a nice little decoration although i ended up breaking it and using the powder inside for something else

Looks nice but last a very short period of time, a bit expensive for something that doesn’t last two minutes!

Reasonable for Price
As advertised, works well, packaged carefully. Bought as a present and thoroughly enjoyed. Magnet struck on base a little bit squint but reasonable quality for price paid.
