The media could not be loaded.  Generally about ROKR brand 3D puzzles models (skip below for this specific model):My wife bought me the ROKR orrery music box 3D wooden puzzle two Novembers ago for my birthday and ignited a new found passion. Since then I've done probably around 20 different ROKR/Robotime wooden models. From marble runs to music boxes, telescope to trolley, steam punk robot to soft pastel landscape full of cute kittens. I've done it all. It almost doesn't matter which ROKR 3D puzzle I'm putting together, it's about the process for me. I've found it to be a great way to focus and give myself hours of me time to build and create. Relax, don't rush, take breaks, enjoy the journey. It usually takes me longer to complete than the boxes say, even after having done so many, and that's ok!I love the quality and variety that ROKR offers. There's truly something for everyone among their available models.This particular model:I've become very familiar with the ROKR product lines, having done so many of their wooden models of all different styles. So when I saw this it kinda stopped me in my tracks. This was something completely different that I hadn't seen from them before, but it looked so cool! I trust the ROKR brand so I decided to give it a try. I've tried plastic models before (like air/spacecraft) but was never good with the paint, glue, or decals so couldn't really get into them, but that was not an issue with this model because none of that is needed. There's some very tiny screws, but they provided appropriate screwdrivers with the kit. The instructions were really well designed and easy to follow. And the finished model, oh man! I really enjoy their wooden models, but this is next level! The movement, the lights, the gears! I'm absolutely in love with it! I'm really praying this is just the first in a new line for ROKR, because I'd buy a dozen more of this style in a heartbeat!

The media could not be loaded.  The directions are clear and easy to follow. The design is excellent!! The only issue I had was the wiring from the battery pack was reversed. I had to remove the wires from plug and reverse them. Blue to blue and red to red. I'm an electronics tech, so had it sorted out in 5 mins. This might be a show stopper for others. Loved the final results. Loved the fact tools were included.

I truly enjoyed building this model. Instructions were easy to read and the final product is beautiful to look at. I hope they release more model kits like this.

The media could not be loaded.  I hope ROKR makes more kits like this. Moyu is still the pinnacle in mechanical kits but this was really fun, works, and looks spectacular. Totally displayable at work. It only took me one day to assemble but I make a lot of these types of kits. You will need some 3 in 1 oil and a pair of snippers. This kit comes with everything else. I used the tin snips from my metal earth kits and they worked great for separating all of the plastic parts. I would buy more of these kits again in a heartbeat if they start producing them!

It will take patience but the quality of the product is excellent, I do wish my eyes were better for the tiny parts. Well worth the purchase, just follow the instructions carefully. A nod to design engineers this is a brilliant project!

Instructions are crystal clear, nontheless they screws are really small, so prepare a reading lamp and good space to avoid losing any.It took me around 5 hours to finish it taking my time and ensuring everything fitsPerfectly, finished product is even better than the pictures.
