My old gasket was so hard I could not tell the difference between the gasket and the plastic cover.After replacing the gasket with this, I have no more leaks.

Also pick up new seals for the bolts
Perfect fit for 2004 e85 bmw z4 3.0. Plenty of videos on YouTube to help out as well. Don't forget to buy the rings to go with the bolts.

Perfect fit for 2003 Z4 2.5i
Fitted my 2003 E85 Z4 2.5i with no problems at all. Be careful removing the original gasket, mine was brittle like plastic and dropped lots of brittle bits of gasket into the head, which took ages to get out.
