Excellent
This mic up to yet is really good , picks up every sound and as far as I am concerned enhances the voice , it's so good I'm considering ordering another one , I use it daily as I'm a professional singer

Great replacement mic
I had a really trusty old Sunfly mic that I got cheaply back in the late 90s, but i dropped it and it died, so i needed to replace it with a new dynamic mic - this one was a great price, and it arrived in just a couple of days - which was perfect for me as i was in the midst of recording a podcast series. This mic is a simple DLR mic that's perfect for what i need with my pop shield. Haven't tried it with singing yet, but spoken word sounds fine.

Great mic; great value
I wanted something like a Sure SM58 but without the price tag. And this is it! Construction is pretty solid (not quite as good as an SM58).I use it for home recording percussion, guitar and vox to Logic. Great mic for the price. Sounds almost as good as mics that sell for double the price. Pretty well balanced response.

music to your ears
I have used Shure mics for almost 45 years and now working with disabled people these mics are a treat a decent sound clean and clear sound of a quality product with years of quality behind them. A general purpose multi use mike can also be used for miking instruments, drums and mostly vocals. This model has a switch to mute mike when not being used. The supplied cable XLR to 6.3mm Jack was found to be of no use our mixer is XLR inputs so we had to buy new cables. Its a nice weight for holding in hand over a period of time.Although I have used other makes of mike I always end up going back to Shure

Excellent value
The box contained the microphone and 4.5m cable. The microphone has an XLR connector, so the cable which is separate, has the XLR plug at one end and a 1/4" jack plug at the other. For my application, a 1/4" mono jack plug was required. As others have said, it will match up with any XLR to XLR cable. Tested briefly and the resulting recording was true to life with no extraneous noise. Although it isn't mentioned in the description, the illustration shows a 3rd item which appears to be a microphone clip. It would have been a useful addition, but In my case it was not included.

Handling noise
Very loud handling noise and the on switch is not good either.

Star product!!!!
I've had several Mics of varying values, though nothing that could be described as high end. I'm merely a karaoke singer, I like to throw a party and heck- I want to sound good!!!So, a bit fed up of the cheaper ones breaking and merely being adequate, I went in search of something a bit better but not too expensive.Well what can I say?? I read the reviews and went for it. It is not just a bit better, it is streets ahead of any others I've had. Also, I've had it over 18 months now and it's still going strong and by gum it's had some use!!!It's not tinny, sound quality is great and you don't need to shout to be heard.I might be guilty of letting my guests use my somewhat inferior products, keeping thus just for me- except they keep noticing!!!😡No need to pay more- I reckon this is much better than a karaoke mic. Take a chance in it whatever your needs!!!
