Slumberdown Cosy Hugs Single Duvet 10.5 Tog All Year Round Duvet Single Bed

Avoid slumberdown down and their products. Bought this duvet 18 months ago, it has never been washed and has had light use and it has split down the whole of one side. I contacted Amazon who were unable to help as my purchase was over 12 months ago, so I then contacted slumberdown. They advised that they were also unable to help as the duvet was over 12 months old and ALSO stated that they would always recommend replacing duvets after 18 months - 2 years anyway to maintain the best quality. Seriously?!?! What an unnecessary and clearly profit driven statement. Having now read previous reviews I wouldn’t ever use this irresponsible company again. In a world where there is a significant push to limit our environmental impact, the suggestion that everyone should replace their duvets after 18 months is quite simply a guise to their shoddy products.

I wasnt blown away by the quality when I first purchased it but thought it would do for the price on a guest bed. After 4 months and not much use, it has split at the seems and the filling is coming out. Dreadful purchase, avoid :(

I ordered this quilt because I needed a lightweight quilt in a hurry and the reviews seemed favourable - also I trusted the brand name.It did arrive quickly - just ahead of my unexpected guest!- but that's where my delight in the product ended. Both the outer cover and the filling are very stiff, making a bit of a nonsense of the name Big Hugs ( I'd expected something really cuddly...) In short, it's very unappealing. However, I desperately needed a lightweight quilt so had to use it - had time been on my side I would have returned it.

Bought this Duvet for my youngest Daughter and had to send it back in a matter of 10 days as the duvet fell apart from the seams due to poor quality manufacturing. In short buy something else and avoid the Slumberdown duvet.

Bought the 15tog for my grandmother for over the winter and so far she’s very happy with it. It seems warm and cosy without being too heavy. Haven’t had it long enough to comment on its durability but the price for this duvet was cheapest here on Amazon having looked at the same one it in a few different stores.

Purchased as filling for our elderly German Sheppard Girlies new bed covers.They will be easy to launder, as will fit into my washing machine, are much more hard wearing that the usual wadding found in dog beds. As the machined sectioned rows in the duvet, will be less easy to split by our 16 week old puppies..As they have just done with the dog beds purchased in November..£90 down the drain there!..The duvets arrived next day through Prime. Were well packaged & as described.I suggest you leave for few minutes after opening.To allow the duvet's to regain their true thickness.As are vacuum packed for delivery.

We have now had this for four months and I already need to buy a new one. It has all started to clump together inside....poor quality, such a shame from such a big name

This duvet is awful, I am going to have to buy another one to replace it. As it has a synthetic exterior and is really light weight it doesn't stay in place when you put it in the duvet cover. Every night I find a cold child under an empty or twisted up duvet cover as when he moves it ends up pushing it down to the bottom of the duvet cover.I wouldn't recommend it at all.
