This pack of Impact Driver, and Drill is simply stunning and you must have it!
After using many 18v cordless drills through my lifetime I was amazed with the DeWalt impact driver when I saw it in action one morning on the way to work. I actually stopped and asked about the tool and was told to look at Screwfix as they had an offer on. I ignored that and came straight on here, good job too as the Screwfix range did not include this and this was cheaper than their version which was only a 1.3mAH battery pack, not this better 2.0mAH range!Having really put these to the test over the last several months I am astounded by how powerful and brilliant they are!The box they come in cannot be any more robust short of being made of unobtanium. This case has been thrown around my shed and still survives! The drills are made of a robust plastic, rubber and metal and they just reek of quality. The Impact Driver:This thing is quite simply amazing. It has put screws into places that I would normally have gone to my corded drill for over my previous cordless drills. It has also REMOVED screws from places that I just simply get them out before. The impact action is noisy but my god, when you hear it you know it's giving you the full power of Thor's mighty hammer! It is light, well balanced and proving to be one of my best ever purchases! I don't use special impact drill bits, I use the standard DeWalt set - DeWalt DT7969 32 Piece XR Professional Magnetic Screwdriver Bit Accessory Set - and find these work just fine. The halo light is funky and works well in darker situations. Just writing this makes me want to go and screw something! Literally!!The Cordless Drill:This again is brilliant. It has the right weight to it that just balances well in your hand when the battery is in. Combined with -- Bosch 2607010546 Multi-Construction Drill Bits, 7 Pieces -- this drill has gone through everything with ease. The only thing that has been stopped by this was the concrete foundation to my shed which was a Gen3 mix, so seriously tough! It has a 10mm chuck, which is the only let down, a 13mm chuck would have been so much better and really made sure this was a killer product. 15 speed torque setting with a main switch, 1 and 2 which 1 being a lower cycle rate so good on the more accurate jobs and 2 just to munch through everything. The charger, well this charges and quickly, so you never ever have to worry about dead batteries. These batteries last for ages and I have spent a good 3 hours using these near constantly and only then did I need to change. I think the rapid charger charges a battery from flat (not recommended to run the battery flat!) in about 1 hour. My charger does make an electrical hum when the battery is full which surprised me initially but I soon got over it!This kit is seriously the balls.#NOTE# although this says it has 'Magnetic bit holder on drill driver' I note some reviews say it's missing a drill bit. It isn't! It is simply stating the Impact Driver has a magnetic holder for the drill bit, so where you put your bits into, is magnetic, that's it. I think the wording is a little confusing.BUY THIS NOW!

Small but powerful!
Brilliant value, great little kit. Extremely light and handy. I use for all manner of fixing and drilling and have not found anything I need to do that that can't do. I will say this, considering these are the "small" ones - I shudder to think what the monstrous 18v beasts can do! I can drive 100x6mm decking screws into solid timber in seconds. All metal gearbox, great build quality, great battery life considering the tiny size of the packs and 30m charging all in a box I can attach to my other stuff. Highly recommended for the advanced DIY'er. If you work on site all day, you probably wouldn't be buying these but if you had enough batteries I think you'd be surprised what these little powerhouses can do!

An absolutely must have for ease of use and effective control. Magic
This is a fabulous drill kit. I have workshop down two flights of stairs. So good is are these units that I've bought a second set for the house. The batteries die very quickly - from full power to none in a short time BUT they last 'forever' and I've rarely run out of juice on a single job. The kit provides two batteries so there's really no need to stop work. The impact driver is incredible. Rusty single slot screws embedded in wood for years simply come out without a problem. Every other driver I've had fails to get them free. I've even driven 6 mm screws through 50 mm wood without priming and then the screw countersinks itself. The box is sensible, robust with plenty of room for mains charger etc unlike some units where you spend ages trying to get everything back in without a lead poking under the lid.

Great little drill if you want something light but good quality
Fantastic little drill. I also have two 18v Makita drills - a DHP456 and a DHP458 (the 'wrist-breaker'). The Makitas are great, they will drill through anything and run all day, but my god are they heavy! The 10.8v DeWalt weighs just under 1.1kg compared to the Makita 458 which is 2.4kg with the 4.0ah battery. The DeWalt drill is so light my 10 year-old can use it comfortably. I actually bought it for her, but I find myself borrowing it more and more often when I want to do a quick job and don't need the power of the Makita.battery life is amazing given how tiny the battery is.The set came with an impact driver. We haven't used the impact driver yet.

Great little drills!
Awesome drills for under £150, I've been meaning to buy an impact driver for a while now, originally I was looking at the 1.3a version, I saw this for a similar price and jumped at the chance. The drill was a bonus for me, both are very small and lightweight, I've used these for hours on end with no issues with fatigue. They come with a sturdy plastic case that can interlock with other Dewalt storage containers, along with 2 batteries and a charger. The batteries charge very quickly and I failed to use all of the battery before the other could charge up.I found belt clips on eBay for around £4.50 each which accompany the drills well. These drills are perfect for DIY around the house and woodworking hobbies. I tried some forstner bits in the drill and it did struggle, but for such small compact drills they still did a good job.
