What I very much dislike about this product is the hundreds of fake reviews. You used to be able to rely on reviews to steer you towards buying a quality product. Not the case anymore. Some advice for readers - don't rely on reviews anymore, these people have got smarter but you can still tell the fake ones.I bought these rubbish, cheap, thin, not fit for purpose, pillow protectors and all the zips fell of IMMEDIATELY. see the reviews from others like me. THESE are the REAL reviews. Amazon please pay attention and do something about this.

I am very disappointed with the quality of this item. I have had a new bed, pillows and mattress. I ordered the pillow protectors as they had a zip and appeared high quality. They were not cheap! I have just pulled them out of the washing machine after their first wash and the zip is coming away from the material. Disappointed to say the least!

I'm surprised so many people had good reviews of these pillow protectors. I'm extremely disappointed - one of the four arrived torn and after one wash, another one tore. Definitely not worth the buy.

They were just ordinary pillow cases with a zip; not spills resistant like many. The material was not bad quality but even a slight spillage of tea or any other fluid would still soak right through to the pillow. Therefore useless as a protector

I bought 2 packs of these, the protectors themselves are fine but the zips cheap and poorly attached. Out of 8 cases in 2 packs, 2 zip didn't work at all and 2 more broke within a couple of weeks when I went to change the pillow cases for the second time, so within 2 weeks half of them are not working as originally designed

I bought these believing they were very reasonable, and looked good in the photographs, with zips - a plus. I opened one packet, they are nothing more than strips of thin folded cotton sheeting which have been very roughly cut with scissors, leaving jagged cut edges which have not even been stitched to prevent fraying. The zips are pathetic. They wouldn't protect anything. Don't touch with a barge pole!! They are an absolute RIPOFF!!

Delighted with fit and quality of cover. One of the zips did fail as it did not have a "stop" but it has remained zipped and quite honestly the cost for 4 is so good I felt a bit cheeky about sending one back. Intend to order some more to keep as spares so a spare without a useable zip is no big deal. I am very pleased I decided to give these a try.

The best zipped pillow protectors I have used. The material is smooth and supple and the zip is conveniently at the end so its easy to change frequently for new guests. Most importantly because they are generously sized the pillows fit easily and are not compressed so they can continue to be soft and comfortable.
