Woah!
This bed is sturdy, versatile and wonderful! Every bit worth the money. However, LOL, holy moly putting this bed together makes IKEA look like child's play! We didn't receive assembly instructions, but were able to find it on the internet, thank goodness. Make sure you have power tools, it will make putting it together easier. It took my husband and I a day and half. This is not for the weak and/or an unstable relationship! With that said, my daughter loves it and so do we! Gives her so much more room, a place for her to do her homework, lots of storage and cozy hang out.

For my Daughter
This loft bed was a great addition to my Daughter's room. Her room is 8'x11'. She has a set of drawers and hangers in her closet, which we were able to combine with the under-the-bed dresser unit to eliminate the free-standing dresser in her room. She loves having the desk, and often when it's quiet, she's sitting at her new desk coloring, drawing, or writing. She's even gotten creative with creating forts under the bed or between the bookshelf end and the wall.It took about 3-4 hours to set up. The parts were in good shape, and the directions were simple and clear.

EXTREMELY WOBBLY!
The set looks nice...but it’s cheaply made. I seriously doubt is supports 240 lbs. My son only weighs 150 lbs. and it shook so bad when he climbed into it that he was afraid it would collapse. We’ve only owned it five months and one of the vertical rails on the ladder has split. I’m not going to bother with the warranty because like I mentioned before...my son is afraid to sleep in it...so we’re going to get rid of it.As far as the assembly...There were parts miss labeled as some other reviews informed, but it’s not too hard to figure out if you’ve put furniture together before.I definitely regret this purchase:(

Good set for the price
A lot of the pieces are not solid wood so don't expect the quality of, for instance, PB Kids. There were a couple of missing holes (not drilled where screws needed to be inserted) in both the bookshelf and the bed, and directions were misleading/unclear in a couple of areas, so assembly took longer than it should have. I built two sets and the second one went much faster since I corrected the instructions as I went along on the first one. Girls love their new sets and the beds seem pretty sturdy; they don't creak, or move much. It would be easy to break the dresser and desk (if your kids are as energetic as mine). Overall, these sets are a good buy for the price.

NOT STURDY NOT SAFE DO NOT BUY
This set was cheap and assembly indicated the wood and design are garbage with spilts in the wood though followed instructions. The child laying on the bunk is less than 70 pounds and when they get in the whole bunk shifts over 4 inches. When they shift the whole bunk moves. This is not a safe design and materials are so cheap. We would have returned but the shipping was too much. Had we opened it and saw the cheap wood we would paid the shipping.

great bed
This bed is wonderful and my daughter Loves it!! It was not that hard to put together easier with 2 people!! It is more sturdy than I thought it would be... tons of storage and the desk is the best part for us, the dresser was a bonus so there is extra storage and made a lot more room in her room! I would definitely recommend especially for small rooms or to those that want extra space and storage!

Good bed but some drawbacks.
First this is a good product it just has some downfalls. It's pine wood, very little particle board (only on the back of drawer cabinet). The wheels are smooth on the desk. I feel like the screws that are visible could benefit from caps to hide it. The drawers have one center slide/glider which I'm not sure how well will last. There are a ton of parts and it took me and my husband a good 6 hours of continuous work. We also found one piece did not have the holes drilled that were needed so we had to get the drill out and put the holes in we neededII don't feel it's going to go anywhere and being it's solid wood and not particle I'm sure we could beef it up if needed in the future. This is a good bed though and with all the storage options is great for my daughters room. Even with the furniture pushed back there's room for her too beanbags of stuffiest to go under it. The bed is very heavy, it came in two boxes which according to FedEx weighed 110 pounds and 97 pounds so you need help lifting and getting them in the house/room. Other then that is good, comparable to Ikea furniture or better just be prepared for dedicate the day and perhaps have a few tools handy just incase.

Assembly was a cinch!
Well made & looks really nice. The instructions were great and all pieces are nicely pre-drilled, making this super easy to assemble. My 4.5 year old loves his big boy bed & this should last him into his teen years!
