It was time to replace my old table saw, so I started looking around. I wanted a table saw fastened to a platform which could be rolled around to where you want it. You could find them, but they weren't cheap.The price on this SKIL saw was decent, so I ordered one, hoping for the best. It had no wheels, but at least it had legs. The legs looked really cheesy and flimsy, but after reading the reviews, I thought I'd order the saw and reluctantly test it.I'm glad I did! The pictures do not do the SKIL saw any justice. It took 30 seconds to set the legs up and it is sturdy! I was really surprised. I'm also really warming up to this saw without wheels. The legs fold up easily and fast giving the saw a small footprint and easily stored. I'm impressed.The table saw fence is sturdy and quite impressive. This saw will handle everything plus more than my old saw did. It has the power and extra features you don't find on other table saws. Get one, you won't be disappointed!

I absolutely love this table saw for its affordable price and excellent performance. The alignments were spot on right out of the box, making it a breeze to use without any adjustments needed. It's lightweight, making it easy to maneuver and store. While the controls function well, I did notice that the blade elevation crank feels a bit rough, likely due to the absence of a separate elevation lock. The stock blade delivers incredibly smooth cuts, but I chose to upgrade to a combination blade for even better results. Just a heads up, ensure your blade kerf is at least 0.1” to accommodate the riving knife. Overall, this table saw is a fantastic investment for any DIY enthusiast or professional woodworker.

An excellent product at affordable price. I verified all alignments and it was perfectly adjusted as delivered, no tweaking necessary. It’s lightweight and easy to move and store. Controls work fine but the blade elevation crank feels rough, apparently necessary because there is no separate elevation lock. Caution: the riving knife requires a blade kerf no less than 0.1”.At this price point, the miter gauge is very basic. Investing in a better one would make another nice upgrade.

Very pleased! I chose this saw because it was less than half the cost of the worksite saw by the big D brand, and a little more than half its weight. I wondered about quality and precision, but the price and Amazon's return policy prompted me to give it a try. I am so glad I did!This is an excellent portable table saw for a home-owner or skilled handyman. Its rugged, stable, powerful, and accurate. The table is a little small compared to a heavy contractor saw, and there is no provision for add-ons like table extensions. But its fifty pounds lighter and less than half the price of those saws!Is this the perfect saw? No. The table is small and it is loud--quite a bit louder than I expected. But, still, it is a good quality portable. It is light enough to carry with one hand, and it folds small enough to store on a shelf. Exactly what I wanted. Highly recommended!Update after a year's use: I've used this saw on multiple home improvement projects. In every case I've been the limit to accurate cuts, not the saw. I will saw the sound gets tiring; it's a very loud saw. But I'd still recommend this saw. It has worked very well for me, and I'm glad I bought it.

I bought this as a replacement for a 30 year old Craftsman table saw. I understood the limitations of a portable job site saw but have to say it does the job better than I was used to. Plenty of power. I've ripped dozens of 2x6's without it complain or giving me any problems. Fence easily held it's ground while ripping 16' lengths. Setup was fairly straightforward and getting it locked in to cut straight was not a problem. Is it as durable as my old saw? No. I don't think it will last 30 years but it is easily moved, stored and does the job I need it to. The table is flat and straight. I'm even considering building a table for it for larger jobs.
