Beware of Jedi mind tricks
I didn’t know we needed another memory game but the youngest thought so and besides, this was a Star Wars version of the age-old game. The game can be played from a young age and really helps both old and young to train their memory and cognitive senses. It is highly recommended rather than start with a wide messed up spread of cards, to place all cards in a checkered pattern and keep it tidy throughout the game. I think I really have an advantage playing this game as my subconscious (jedi?) senses react euphorically to some of the the depicted Star Wars characters - it must be due to my day-one love of, and fascination with the material, so its easier to win when I just trust me feelings. Still, I have to make sure to slip the children an occasional win of course. The game is well presented and comes in a small sturdy box that is good for storage and travel. If you have never played before it takes less then 2 minutes to set it up and understand the rules. The cards itself could have been made of slightly thicker card board but then the packaging would have been more sizeable. And it works well as it is.It remains a delightful game, well -worth the modest price.

My son loves it! Portrait style pics are a little dull, IMO.
Only reason I’ve removed a star is because with so many Star Wars characters & vehicles to choose from I feel it was unnecessary to include two Luke Skywalkers, I’d prefer each card to be different. There are 24 pairs of cards in the box that are done in a portrait style. Personally I find the chosen pictures a little dull. My son & I would have preferred that the characters be placed in a real environment rather than have an empty single coloured background behind. But having said all that it’s a simple game that is fun to play.

Not exciting images.
I recently bought several games for my grandson on visits and he has only shown interest in a few - this one however he is not the slightest bit interested. I can only think that it is because the images are quite dull and because they are so, it doesn't look interesting or appealing.I think the idea of a memory game is fabulous but not with these kind of images...in my opinion it should be bright and clear pictures to catch the eye and therefore make it easier to distinguish from others - too dark to do that.

Still playing every day...
Bought for Christmas and so much fun for the kids. I have a 5 year old boy and 2 year old girl and it's amazing how fast they learn. We have the Peppa Pig ones for the wee one but she plays with these also. You can start with just a few pairs then work your way up to the full set. We play as a family so nice not to have T.V on.

Learn names of Star Wars characters and improve your all round memory
Gave it to my grandson as one of his birthday presents - wanted to play with it straightaway - beat his mother who said "at least I shall soon learn the names of all the Star Wars characters!"Good for memory development.
