Oh Wow!
It's difficult to get excited about a keyboard... but this is beautiful. Now, since transcending to a desktop the keyboard has always been an issue of much strife for me... things just not working as they should, this all changed today. I literally received this package 10 minutes ago and after eagerly tearing the packaging off infront of the delivery man, we both knew it was going to be good. I'll explain...First of all the keys. As I type to you now I can confirm that, even though the key profile is higher than that of other keyboards I have used; more noticeable if you're used to tablet/laptop keyboards, it is just as responsive. A connoisseur might desire the keys to be slightly thinner however for £16.50, i'm not going to dispute it. Ultimately it's still fast to respond and the keys are light & quick to reform after contact; a feature welcomed after those that now lie in my keyboard graveyard. The layout is a standard UK design which again, I no longer take for granted having experienced the horror of an American layout and the confusing switch-a-roos often seen in other compact keyboards. There are also nice gaps between the keys which I've concluded is a much better ergonomic design than having the keys next to each other. It will also make the whole thing much easier to clean. It came primed with 2 AA (Duracell no less!) batteries meaning it was ready to go.The base of the keyboard comes with rubber adhesives strategically placed around the edges and on the base of the prop hinges; that are of sturdy design though, again for the connoisseur I notice a minute millimetre wobble in mine. The receiver is a unifying logitech receiver which is fab because it means my logitech mouse and it, both connect to the PC through the same usb input now. Those things cost about £10 each too! One point to make which I guess is to be expected is whilst you can have multiple devices connected to one receiver, you can't have multiple receivers connected to one/more devices. This sadly meant I can't have the mouse and keyboard working for both my PC and laptop without switching around the receiver to either, which is a small shame. Another thoughtful and much desired feature is that the USB receiver can be stored inside the keyboard! This is so handy for travelling yet in all my previous keyboards it wasn't there.I've had a brief play with the additional functions which also work suprisingly well! At the top left of the keyboard are a three navigation buttons: back, play/pause, forward that seem to be able to control Spotify! I expect they'd work well with VLC player too. Most of the Fn keys seem to work... I don't really know what some of them do which might explain why nothing happened but, I can successfully use the: Home, Mail, Search, Music (links to spotify!), Switch screen, calculator buttons to great success on a Windows 8 OS which is improving my user experience. Finally there's an on/off switch, this is also immensely handy. Not because I expect it to run out of juice what with having two Duracell batteries in there, but again when travelling with it, even if it's just downstairs, it means any pressure on the keyboard won't cause random typing on your laptop. This is especially prominent i've found with past keyboards which have been packed in my bag and not in use but still on, which interferes with your laptop's inbuilt keyboard. The footprint of the keyboard is approximately 38cm by 15cm by 1.4cm which is larger than my other compact keyboards but still not as big as your standard full sized. Were I to make an improvement id probably scrap the number pad, but hey, it's good enough. Really I aught to give this 4 and a half stars but I feel Logitech have put some real thought into this product and I am exceptionally grateful. They know there stuff.

An Excellent Keyboard at a good price.
My original K360 (which I’d had for many years) started playing up when some keys stopped working and others being registered as if the key was being held down. I really liked the keyboard so I ordered a replacement. The K360 keyboard is compact considering that it has a number pad on the right hand side and just like my previous one feels solidly constructed. I like the feel of the keys and the fact that they aren’t clicky is a bonus for me. Other reviewers don’t seem to like this aspect of the keyboard, but it works for me.Some other reviewers said that the dongle was missing and I was disappointed when I opened the battery compartment and saw that the slot where you can store the receiver if needs be was empty. However I found the receiver in a small slot in the box that the keyboard comes in. Easily missed if you’re not careful. So don’t throw away the box until you have found the receiver! It worked straight out of the box as soon as I switched it on with the receiver that was already plugged into the PC. Logitech unifying technology is brilliant. My only gripe was the finish of the top plate. My original one had a matt black top plate and the new one a glossy black one which shows every finger print. No worries though, I peeled the plate off the old one and laid on top of the new one. Voila! Personally I rate this keyboard highly and it’s good value for money.

Functional good value wireless keyboard
Very impressed with this keyboard, it's pretty compact but very comfortable to type on, some positives:+ Nice compact size yet large enough to touch type full speed accurately on.+ Nice action on the keys, they are raised above keyboard base and have a comfortable amount of travel on them.+ Keyboard feels very solid, heavier than other wireless keyboards I've had before but is actually a bonus when typing away from the desk as it helps it stay more stable. Feels like it will last, unlike the microsoft wireless desktop keyboard which felt flimsy by comparison.+ On off switch - not all wireless keyboards feature this but can only be good for battery consumption.+ Laptop style Fn button which allows access to further functions (such has on off or email) through F1-12. Not massively useful to me, but some may appreciate it.+ Media keys at the top, play back forwards, mute vol -+, fairly standard but always useful.+ Unifying receiver, is tiny, installation is very easy and works with the same receiver from my mouse. There's a compartment in the battery cover for the spare receiver. And some negatives:- Keys have a plastic coating feel, the keypress action feels quality but the keys themselves not so much.- The lettering appears to be stuck on to the keys, can make out a dark outline where they've been added if you look very close. Potential here for commonly used keys to lose they're lettering but this is just speculation.- Home and end keys are in the wrong place, located above the number pad, which does take some getting used to. Same for the arrow keys which have been moved to save space.Overall I'd recommend it, nice good quality keyboard at a reasonable price from a reputable brand. Some concessions on key placement to obtain the compact size whilst still using normally sized keys, but is perfect for me - I needed a keyboard that would equally comfortable to type on a desk and on a lap and this is certainly that.
