What can I say. It's ready mixed poster paint. Not too runny not too thick. Plenty of it in the bottle for lots of hours of painting fun for my son. You've got your two shades (white and black) and your primary colours plus green. A great basic set of colours for kids to use. The colours are nice and strong and gave good coverage. I did mix colours together to make additional colours for my son to paint with and it mixes well. I got a lovely pink from the red and white, a nice deep purple from the red and blue and a bright orange from the red and yellow. Perfect for our crafting needs with plenty paint for a two year old who tends to dunk the brush in and lift up a large blob of paint to sleep on the paper, giving a nice 3D effect to his artwork.Will definitely purchase more of this when we need it. If you don't mind mixing your own additional colours then this is a perfect set of poster paint. I thought this was good value for money compared with hobbycraft where I had previously got paint from and its a bigger bottle. Does the job nicely

These are excellent value, speaking as a primary teacher who sometimes despairs at the cost of things in the Consortium catalogue! The paints have washed out well so far, though I haven't tested it to an extreme - I bought an overall at the same time (that's also the teacher in me, possibly) - and the colours mix well and predictably. I've used them in a palette for my 2 year old and the cost means I'm less worried about washing all the horrible colours he mixes without thinking what a waste it is! The colours spread well and are nice and bright. He's really happy and so am I.

Its perfect! Tonnes of colour, very reasonable price and lovely bright colours. You can mix to get more colours. But for a 2.5yr toddler, who doesn't care much about the variety of colours, we are very happy with this set of colours. The paints wash well and last long enough so I don't have to keep worrying about paint wastage when my little one mixes all the colours and ends up with brown overtime. lol. In paint pots, my toddler used to end up with all mixed colours after just 1 session of painting, where as with this, even over time he can have the individual colours unaffected and fresh.

Good, large, colourful paints, grandchildren were overjoyed to receive them.

Bought for my 4-year old granddaughter, these were much better value than the small pots offered by companies such as Crayola. I also bought a cheap palette (just over £1 from Amazon), which means we can put out a small amount of each colour for a painting session. The paints were thick and covered the paper well, and my granddaughter enjoyed the bright colours. This will be a good way to introduce her to colour mixing later. Although my granddaughter kept clean, I managed to get paint down my white T-shirt! Pleased to report that it came out in the wash with no trace of a stain.

Bought these as we are always looking for paints for my sons school projects. Don't really think we needed such big bottles but ordered anyway. They are good quality and will go a long way. First painting project he did looked excellent the paint isn't wishy washy. These will last us a few years and therefore good value for money. Did consider buying the bigger packs with more colours but this set is sufficient and every colour can be mixed from these so no need to get the bigger pack.

These paints are really good quality. They are brightly coloured. Arrived but unfortunately the black paint lid was damaged and paint had spilt all over the other paints. All other paints, once wiped were undamaged. Can’t send it back as box was wet from the rain and I need the paint straight away.
