PravanaChromaSilk Vivids (Silver) 3 Fl 0z

This product is one of the best products I've ever used!! It is alongside the Wella 050, although the Wella 050 is just as good. The Pravana Silver is more the healthier option as Wella is used with Developer, and this is used with Conditioner which is a really big plus! I've used this twice now. WARNING!! The first time I used this I messed up. I thought it was meant for damp hair, even after viewing YouTube videos I stupidly forgot about this fact. It went really patchy... And is not worth a picture to be shown because it was so bad! lol. Use this product on dry hair it will save you trust me. So I've always been dark haired since my teens, my natural colour is a light brown though I always thought black hair suited me more. I never really desired another colour until Silver came into fashion. It's different and such a challenge... and I love a challenge! The first time I did this I still had so much yellow and maybe a tiny bit of orange in my hair, baring in mind I did it on damp hair, this could've also been a reason why it went patchy. The second time I bleached it until I was a very very pale yellow and I mean milkshake like. Finally I used this product again on dry hair and it turned into a beautiful grey!! I loved my black hair, but I am absolutely in love with this!! I definitely do recommend this. Any bad review saying that this doesn't work, they're making mistakes. It helped me just viewing many YouTube videos with this product. :) I've also bought Roux Fanciful in True Steel recently to maintain my granny hair! :D

I am naturally strawberry blond but hennad my hair flame red by logona for the last ten years. (It's natural and not a composit with metals- so no criticism at all). I loved it because it was so red but it's got harder to keep up with and gradually got darker and darker even though I was only doing the roots. So I chucked a load of lightening blond mix on it last week. My hair isn't very strong At the best of times. Well the resulting colour was iridescent orange through to yellow and I wanted to cry I had to go out so I tied it back- which I never do. hairdressers won't touch you if it's henna. 2 years back I did a permanent make up training with all the colour correction pigments etc so knew I had to get the brassy tones out with purple (corrects yellow to a brown colour) . Purple Conditioner and shampoos didn't work. My hair couldn't take any more peroxide for trying ash brown dyes with chemicals. This little beauty did it! I'm not silver at all - and never wanted to be. But chanced the purple base as strong enough and it was fabulous. it took the mad yellow and orange out and turned me strawberry blond again with lovely very blond highlights at the roots where the henna didn't reach- and no more damage. Using bleach first - I think this is the best red henna antidote answer ever! I'm so happy after days of total anxiety.

Really nice at first but as it fades it's colour goes odd and doesn't look great meaning it needs to be touched up regularly

You have to know that so it can work for you : you have to bleach the hair the lightest possible. I have brown hair and I obtained the best resultats with a schwarzkopf blond me 9 tone bleach. Less agressive bleach makes the hair too yellow for the grey to turn out great.Great silver metallic color. Does stay on 3 weeks in good condition. If you dilute it just a little it can first keep a purple shine the first days, but if you dont mind you might add another week to your color duration that way. Then it goes to silver and grey and gets lighter to white, and finally the yellow shows.Have tried a few products but this one worked really well with gorgeous results, been using it for 2 years now.

The holy grail of silvery ash toners for prelightened hair. I use it like this - 10 ml mixed with 100 ml of white conditioner (or 25 ml to 250 ml of conditioner if your hair is long). Your hair needs to be pre lightened to banana colour for the toner to take. Use it on dry hair and apply with a tint brush. Leave it on for as long as you like because it isn't damaging to hair at all. I leave it in for about half an hour but I know of people who leave it in for a couple of hours.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________UPDATE: I got a bit blase with it and put a less diluted mixture on my hair to cover my newly bleached roots. I pulled it through to the ends and now, under certain light conditions (i.e. at work!) my hair looks green and sometimes blue. Outside, it looks a lovely silvery colour. I understand that the best/only way to fade it is to use a professional clarifying shampoo regularly until you get the desired effect (colour strippers won't work). I'll try that and update again._______________________________________________________________________________________________________________UPDATE: Clarifying shampoo did fade it eventually. I found a way of eliminating the green hue. Mix 5 ml of Vivids silver with 5 ml of Vivids pink with 100 white conditioner. The result is a lovely pale silvery ash colour with no green Voila!

Have used this colour for years between salon visits, this last batch has left a pink undertone in hair when faded/bleached out and goes on much darker than before.

nice colour but didnt take on all my hair. I have a lot of hair (medium length but thick and curly) so this tube was 50/50 diuted with conditioner - i needed two tubes really but then it starts to get expensive

Bin zufrieden, tut was es soll. Habe es ein bisschen mit Spühlung gestreckt um die teure Tube nicht gleich auf einmal zu verbrauchen. Habe schon öfter Pravana benutzt und kann bis jetzt nichts Schlechtes dazu sagen. Viele Leute machen halt leider den Fehler und machen zu viel Spühlung dazu, dann wirkt das Silber nicht.

Couleur plus claire que indiquée. N'a pas prit la première fois sur mes cheveux, la deuxième fois j'en avait pas assez pour faire tout mes cheveux. résultat j'ai deux mèches blondes encore et. Vu me prix je peux pas en recommander.

Gives a beautiful shade of silver. However don't keep it for long as your hair will start looking blue-purple.
