Series 7

I’ve bought many of these over the years as series 7 is better cut than my series 9 shaver, I got at good price they last for some time before the foil breaks. Before that get great cut.

I recently bought a cheap version of the braun head for my series 7 shaver and the shave on that wasn't any better than the one I took off , it was very snatchy and uncomfortable so I sent it back and got the braun version, wow it's like night and day The braun one is so smooth and refined The braun one is so much better it's incredible, I'll never buy a cheap version again.

Seems ok, doesn’t feel as close a shave as the original foil head shipped with the series 7

3rd or 4th one of these I have bought. Makes the razor feel like new.

This fits a relatively old Braun shaver. Last time I ordered this for my aging father, was July 2022. Delighted I can still get the foil, at hardly any added cost.

UPDATE - I have had this series 7 razor for many years now, and have always been happy with these new heads. But I just bought another (August 2024) and it is awful. It looks ok, but if I don't shave for a couple of days (which I do often), the new blade is terrible on a heavy stubble, it feels like it is plucking the hairs out rather than cutting them, really painful. Down to 1 star for me, I am going to have to seriously look at replacing the razor with a different one. FURTHER UPDATE June 2025: after months of emails and sharing photos with Braun, they have confirmed that the cutter I was having problems with IS A FAKE. It can be seen in the photo I now attach that the OLD one has springs on the blades, holding them tight against the foil. The NEW one doesn't have these, and this is why it snags and pulls the hairs so badly rather than cutting cleanly. Once I told Amazon about this they refunded me immediately. I noticed that although this has been "shipped from" Amazon, it was "sold by" a seller. I just bought another and made sure to choose "sold by" Amazon, and this is fine. So if you are having problems like I did, you probably have a fake too. My original review follows: I'm in my 50s now, and my Braun series 7 razor is the best razor I've ever owned. It's about 2 years old now, so I figured it was time to splash out on a new blade for it. I was a bit put out that it's an all in one unit now, previous razors I've owned allowed blades and foil to be replaced separately. But it's a minor niggle really. Anyway, my razor was still giving a very good shave, but with the new head it's just like new again. You don't notice the gradual decline in shaving performance over time, until you renew it. Definitely worth it.
