Beware, unlike stated in the description, this is 6000k, not 6500 kelvin.

This product just about does the job, but is not as advertised. Firstly the lights are 6000k not 6500k as advised on the Q&A section. Secondly there's no in line dimming control as shown. Thirdly the strip of lights in the photos are shown as having sections between the leds that flex to allow them to follow the corners of the screen. They do not exist in the delivered product, I received a very stiff strip of lights that are difficult to mount to the monitor as making the strip turn around the corner is proving difficult without the flexibility shown in the photos. Very misleading at this price range. Especially as the day I received these (25/11/21) they now have £5 off!Not really impressed by this product.

They are 6000K not 6500K as named which is really disappointing and will not work for what I need.

I installed some Luminoodle lighting on the rear of our wide screen TV and it brought it to life. Recently I bought a widescreen computer monitor and decided to buy another brand light strip to install on the rear in the hope that it would have same effect, it did not. It was a cheaper but an inferior product that was supplied in four different strips with connecting wire that did not stay on place and hopeless to fix in place. The light quality was also poor. Decided to return it and buy another Luminoodle strip which, as before, was easy to fix as it is in one strip which can be turned on the corners with the ability to cut the excess off to leave a tidy finish. Worth the extra money, I would not use anything else now. Recommended.

I really want to write a good review for this item but cannot. I got this to illuminate the area behind my monitor so when I'm gaming later on in the evening I don't need to have my games room light on. In terms of providing a back-light this does a very good job and my evening gaming session was a lot kinder on my eyes than usual.The bad points, the sticky stuff on the reverse side is very low tack and has barely any stickiness in many places. The USB cable isn't a proper fit so you need to wiggle it around to find the right spot each time you put it in. Lastly the only way to turn it off is remove the cable from your device completely as even with device powered off it still draws power and illuminates an area when you don't want it to as is evident in my picture.

If you are ordering the medium strip, be aware that it has no brightness controls even though they are advertised on the images.If you want an always on very bright light strip that you can't control, then this is great.For any other normal use, this is borderline unusable.

+ Good adhesion+ Good lighting that is adequately bright+ Easy set-upThis is a great way to add some soft mood lighting to your HDTV...with all room lights dimmed/off it really enhances the mood for whatever you're watching. The adhesion is really good too, although you have to watch for the corners where you bend the strip—over time (in my case, 1 year)—the adhesion on those corners begins to become less effective. Still, very happy with the purchase and will highly recommend.

Paid £16.99 plus shipping (to mainland Europe). Excellent, well packaged, received in very good time. Easy to fit to the TV but I would say if you have a TV over 42'' then this strip is going to be only just long enough. I find it a little short for my 50'' TV. All in all very pleased so 5 stars.
