Update because my most recent experience with this cover wasn't great. I bought a second giant body pillow case with zipper but this time there were a lot of threads stuck in the zipper. I had to cut them out to get it working, which was frustrating. Not as good as the company has been in the past.Previous review:I bought this brand of pillow protector because I have it for my standard size pillows and my king size pillows and the quality has always been really good. The zipper Works nicely. The thread count is nice. It isn't particularly be soft or crunchy. But it does great to protect my pillow.The only thing that I would like to see added on is a zipper pocket. A little thing for the zipper to tuck into. I solve for that by opposite putting the pillow case on. So the zipper is on the closed end of the pillow case.I like that it's just as tall as me! In fact taller. I am 5' 10" and this thing is taller than me. It's as long as my couch seen here!Protip: Put it on like pantyhose or a condom. Either scrunch it all up at one end and work it on. Or turn it inside out and roll it on.

I recently acquired a body pillow (to prop up at the head of my bed to provide extra support for reading in bed), and I looked at specialty linens stores (Company Store etc) for a dust mite cover but surprisingly had no success. I was pleased to see that Amazon had this item at a reasonable price.I'd bought items from the Allersoft allergy line before, so I expected that they would be high quality, and I wasn't disappointed--the zipper and seams are well-constructed, and the fabric is well-made. If you're looking for a body pillow allergy cover that is all cotton, breathable, and doesn't have that irritating, sweat-producing plastic laminate liner, this is an excellent choice.

It seems like this is a nice thick fabric that will help with dust allergies, but I dont see how the locking zipper protects against bed bugs. it's just a normal zipper, which I guess I should have expected because that's what is pictured. pulled all the way closed it still has a small gap where the zipper pull doesn't quite go all the way to the end of the teeth that a bed bug could crawl right through. I guess having a zipped closure is more protected than a sham or standard pillowcase.

This seems like it will be a great cover I purchased it to go with my newly purchased "The Original Shredded Memory Foam Body Pillow with Viscose rayon Cover derived from Bamboo-Coop Home Goods". Fits perfectly and I didnt have to force the pillow inside. Lots of room to move around without feeling too big. The cover did have a little shine to it (almost a plasticy type feeling) which is why I gave the 4 stars. I am sure it has something to do with the hypo-allergenic feature, but still wish it was just a tad bit softer. Still, worth all 4 stars and a great, well made, product. Glad it didn't have any chemical smell when I opened it. Still, wash before using.

Good item as advertised at a good price. They are pretty light weight and tear easily, but work fine if you’re careful with the zipper.

These are the best dust it pillow covers. I have very bad allergies and have been using these for years and they hold up to washing. They are real cotton and don't have a plastic feel like a lot of covers out there which is what you need in a pillow cover. The only drawback is that I didn't realize these were sold also in a 2 pack, which was what I wanted and the 2 pack costs a couple dollars less.

It fits the pillow of the same size well and it feels great with a pillowcase over it.

These are really effective. I was suffering from bed time allergies for a WHILE before I finally got an allergy test and found out I was allergic to dust mites (ok those are everywhere) and bird feathers (OK those are in my pillows). I picked up this product to be the cover for my Down-filled body pillow from The Company Store and now I have no more bed time allergies! (Now they have a Down-free option, fyi.)
