Such a well rounded and convenient dog food
This is great for our Doberman with a sensitive stomach. He had a operation on his stomach just as he turned 1yrs due to eating a stone (great 1st birthday celebration- a massive vet bill) he couldn’t stomach kibble or cold pressed pellets after that point and found this stuff gave him all the nutrition he needed in a convenient way. We give him 2x trays in the morning (45kg Doberman, now 3yrs old) and a packet of raw at night and he gets soooooo many complements on his condition (both vets and other dog owners) such a shiny coat & good figure thanks to the nutrition included! He loves all the grain free meaty options, but we avoid chicken as found it gives him dandruff. One very happy boy every morning!!

Just one thing….
Dog loves the lamb and sardine trays and so do I but, yes there is a but - opening the plastic seal on the tray is really really difficult without it getting messy and always needs a sharp knife in the end. Why is it so well sealed you can’t pull it off with your fingers? Realise batches probably differ but is it really necessary to be that well sealed?

Damaged food trays
Product is very good but have had 3 deliveries where the trays are damaged and food is leaked into the box . I did receive a replacement last year for one but I have only just received the other damaged trays , 5 in total from 2 separate deliveries (I have 3 delivered every 2 weeks) I don’t want to risk giving them to my dog in case they have been tampered with . They may have just been damaged in transit but I can’t be sure .

Been using Forthglade for over 2 years, always great.
I made the switch permanently to Forthglade, and another grain free dog food, over 2 years ago when my nearly 3 year old Cocker Spaniel was having bad stomach upsets from another well known brand of dog food which I won't name.I then had a 9 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who died a few weeks ago in her sleep, and my now nearly 3 year old boy. I made the switch to Forthglade to solve his upset stomach problems, and I have never gone back. We have tried a number of different flavours, his faves seem to be the Lamb, and the Salmon, but also the other fish varieties too.We have just picked up an 8 week old Cocker Spaniel puppy, and our only complaint with the puppy forthglade is that our young pup would rather eat our 2 year olds food than her own, although she does actually eat both. The food is grain free which is great, it has a very high meat content, which is fantastic, and it's not that high on fat. Good news all around. I would recommend it to anyone, and I already have done in fact previously to people with Cocker Spaniels. It's a reasonable price too, and both my current dogs, and my previous dog, love it.

Fishy Smell
I always buy forthglade directly from the Forthglade website, sometimes this variety , mostly duck & chicken. However, this is the first time buying from Amazon and as these items were on sale it was a no brainer so I bought 48 (4x12 boxes) and I have to say I'm not happy with the product at all.As I said I've bought these boxes multiple times directly from forthglade and not one pack smells like these ones do.I've opened multiple packs from all boxes to check if it was maybe just one bad batch but to my dismay it seems that all the boxes are bad. There is a horrible fishy/stale smell as soon as you open the seal and it's very off putting, almost as if the product hasn't been stored properly, maybe too much heat and has spoiled the meat.Unfortunately I can't risk feeding my two pedigrees anything that might upset their digestive system of affect their health so I've had to dispose of all boxes and am now having to replace directly from the forthglade website.Buyers beware, check before feeding this to your pets as I can assure you the food is NOT supposed to smell fishy/stale.

Great variety for my dog's meals
I picked up this grain-free variety pack for my dog, and I'm really pleased! He loves the turkey, lamb, and duck flavors, which is a relief since he can be picky. The texture is nice and easy for him to eat. It does seem a bit on the pricier side, but the quality is definitely worth it for his health and happiness. Overall, a solid find for any dog lover!

Gave my Dog very bad Diarhhea.
Both my Dogs who have sensitive stomachs seemed to love this Forthglade food, however it gave one of them very runny Diarrhea for several days, which continued after I immediately stopped feeding it to him. He was quite unwell. When he was much better I tried him again on it by giving him a very small amount. This was to establish if it was this food. Again he had Diarrhea and so I stopped and wont be giving it to him again. My Dogs are both fine on the other Forthglade foods. It just seems to be this Chicken one.
