Shampoo Bar COCONUT & LEMON VERBENA Shea Butter Jojoba Oil Vitamin E

I have just odered the Coconut and Lemon Verbena shampoo bar for the second time. I was intrigued by the idea of a shampoo bar and decided to try this particular brand because of the good reviews. The shampoo leathers up beautifully and has a lovely lemony scent. It rinses out at the same rate as regular shampoo. My hair was squeaky clean as other reviewers have described and it combed out as it usually does. I used my usual products before drying and straightening my hair. Result - Excellent. My hair feels slightly thicker and, strangely, lighter, but remains in same good condition as it was before and, importantly, there are two less plastic bottles in my bathroom.

I see very mixed reviews about these bars but thought i'd give it a go. The first couple of times I didn't like it as it felt strange and not like liquid shampoo at all. I did however persevere as I like the concept a lot and the bar smells very nice and does lather up nicely.Luckily for me it seems to work well now. I don't have the problems that several others have had with it. Maybe it just doesn't work for all hair types but for me with relatively short hair it works well enough and it's a great product for travelling as now I just take 1 bar with me rather than 3 containers of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel

Having previously bought this coconut and lemon verbena shampoo bar from a different outlet I thought it was very good at washing my hair, so I've ordered more through Amazon this time. I like to work the bar over my head to acquire a rich lather and, in doing this, I think that the scalp ends up benefitting from a better massage too. The fragrance is nice and the bar makes more economic sense than liquid shampoos when, lets face it, you are paying a hiked up price for the high percentage of water in the bottle too. I am not crassly pretentious enough to advise anyone upon presumed and assumed benefits, or otherwise, in regard to the contents of these bars. All I know is that the shampoo bar is good at it's purpose with me. With my order I also acquired the Lavender and Rosemary variant for my friend as she wanted to try that fragrance out. I'll probably be ordering more bars for additional Xmas present stocking filler treats too when the time comes.Eamonn

It smells so good I want to eat it!....I washed my hair few times already using this shampoo bar and I am very pleasantly surprised as my hair feels great. It does not leave greasy residue, leaves my hair smelling great and looking even better.I was a bit concerned that it came wrapped in OPP biodegradable film/cellophane. I looked it up and it turns out that can be composted and will break down within 3-6 months. Not ideal, but reasonable.I will keep using it and consider buying more if I cannot find shampoo bar which is as good as this one but wrapped in paper.***Alphy & Becs....please consider greaseproof paper and I will be your customer forever:)

I am really gutted that I couldn't get on with this product. I feel very strongly about reducing our use of plastic so thought I would give this bar a go. It smells beautiful, comes well packaged and is good quality. It lathers really well but unfortunately it dries my hair out too much. I Used a bar conditioner also but it still wasn't enough to stop my hair from drying out. I would recommend for anyone to give it a go as the product is lovely and it might be ok on different hair types and colours.

I thought that I should try this shampoo bar as I had used other ones but unfortunately those either don't ship to the Channel Islands or come all of the way from China. So I read the reviews and despite them being more expensive I thought that these sounded good and had been reassured that they would also condition my hair too. I was wrong, so wrong. The first wash felt like it stripped my hair of all the natural oils and goodness that my hair had. There was absolutely no sign of conditioning. It felt squeaky clean as if i had washed my hair with a regular bar of soap. I have straight non-flyaway hair so i don't usually have problems. This just left my hair feeling awful and getting a brush through it was not at all gentle. I thought that perhaps I was being a bit fast to judge so I used it a second time. I usually wash my hair every other day but this bar makes you feel like your hair needs washing on day one . Anyways, i used it again and realised that this bar is horrible. I loath to throw things away, especially as the aim of using bars is also to cut down on waste but it went straight into the bin. Not a good buy.

This shampoo smells lovely, comes nicely packaged and is a good size for the price. It lathers up well and rinses away leaving my hair feeling literally squeaky clean. However, once my hair had dried after washing with this product it still felt dirty, sort of greasy and sticky. The second time I used it I really rinsed it thoroughly in my shower but it still felt the same and it has no shine. Hugely disappointing for what started out such a promising product.

Very nice packaging, good scent very fresh, good quality, leaves the hair clean, shiny, soft. Just love it!
