Silverline 262705 DIY 1400W Compound Mitre Saw 210 mm 1400W UK,Bule

Had this saw for 5 years now still holding up well. Since Purchased a larger fancier saw but find myself using the old one more as its smaller very portable and light. Is a bit small for wider boards and probably not as accurate but is simple to use and works well.

My first mitre power saw and I've been really happy with it. I've only needed to use it to make cuts to a depth of less than 5cm and it's made then cleanly and evenly. Of the 2 supplied blades, I'm still using the coarse one and even on smaller material it's making good clean cuts providing you don't rush it.The blade guard provides good coverage and a sense of security for beginners like me, and I'll happily take the tradeoff in cutting depth for the safety it provides.The only negatives are that Silverline manuals/user guides are appalling! Small form and minute print make you want to disregard them, but crack out the magnifying glass and give them a read as they do contain some useful information but be aware it's not made particularly easy.Overall, the hardware's good, the documentation isn't, but still a good tool for the money

Giving this product a star rating very much depends on how you want to use the saw. For most people who just want a good value mitre saw then this saw seems fine. For me though I wish I'd bought a different saw as I'd bought this saw to chop up bits of pallet and for that it is not really suitable as the blade guard cannot be moved separately to the saw being pushed down so you can't expose enough of the blade to get a big bit of pallet cut (even though you are only cutting through a centimetre or so of wood. Now for me that is a feature I could do with out and would rather have the ability for the blade guard to be pushed out of the way as you push the blade into the wood as with other mitre saws I've had. Of course if you want a saw where the blade guard mechanism prioritises your fingers over doing a wider variety of jobs then this is the saw for you. Other details: The movable blade guard is metal, but the top part of the guard is plastic. I don't know whether this matters as on previous saws I've had, nothing has ever made it through a plastic guard. You get a spare pair of bushes, but no metal end supports even though there are holes that looks like you could fit some.

Easy setup ok for the money.

Por el precio que vale no se le puede pedir más, funciona muy bien, hace los cortes muy rectos inglete hasta 45 grados. Para mí perfecto

Das Teil ist ein bisschen wackelig und die Schutzverkleidung ist nicht aus Metall außer die schwarze. Für das Geld kann man auch nicht mehr erwarten aber für den kleinen Hobbyhandwerker reicht sie aus.

Après avoir cherché sur Internet une scie radiale combiné, je suis tombé sur cet article et je peux dire aujourd'hui que je ne suis pas déçue. Je l'ai testé sur des lambourdes de 4 cm sur 7cm et la coupe est nickel.Testé également sur des lames en bois pour ma terrasse, la coupe est parfaite et en plus on gagne un temps fou.Je recommande ce produit peu cher ( si l'on compare avec les autres produits dans la même gamme) et concluant.Si vous cherchez une scie radiale, elle est faite pour vous :)
