Easy to use and remove - no mess, no stress!
As someone who gets a regular hollywood wax at the salon I found myself in a bit of a pickle what with the current lockdown. I took to looking for something I could try doing myself at home and came across this Persian cold wax. I was immediately attracted to it because it's a natural washable sugar wax formula and as someone who has very little experience of DIY waxing this appealed (i've read lots of horror stories of people attempting home waxing and ending up with wax in all of the wrong places and unable to remove it!). Once it arrived I took my time reading the instructions and popped it in the microwave for 30-40 secs until the consistency looked about right (not too runny but goes on the skin smoothly). Starting at the outer edge of my bikini line and working my way in, I used the wooden spatula to apply the wax in small, thin lines in the direction of hair growth, and then using the cotton strips to pull back in the opposite direction as close to the skin as possible. I emphasise: START SMALL. Unless you're a seasoned pro you may as well play it safe and minimise the likelihood of pain/messing it up. With this technique I managed to do a pretty good job of things and didn't need to go over any spots. The further in you go the harder it gets due to the tricky angles of the hair growth so I haven't gone further than a french/extended bikini wax for now, but it's a vast improvement and a good start! As I stated, the massive bonus with this product is that it washes off easily with warm water. And you can wash and reuse the cottons strips and spatulas, so good for the environment too! I don't normally write reviews but I am honestly really impressed with this product. Can't wait to try it on my underarms and legs next! Great value for money as well.FYI I have relatively dark, coarse-ish hair but like I said I wax regularly so the root is probably not so strong. Not sure what result you'd get if you've previously shaved.

***How to use this cold wax to minimise costs and maximise effectiveness**** TIPS & TRICKS!!
I don't often leave reviews but every time I wax myself with this, I'm so amazed by it so the urge to share this with you guys was always on my "to do" list.1 - Make sure the wax is soft. I pop it in the microwave for maybe 10 seconds but every microwave is different so keep an eye on the consistency. Should feel like thick honey.2 - Keep a hairdryer next to you plugged in and heat up the wax when it starts to set - this avoids you having to get up and rush to the microwave naked with wax strips stuck to your body!3 - Apply a *thick* layer on the hair in the SAME direction of the hair growth. Place a strip over the wax, rub the strip with your hands a few times to help it stick even more, then pull real quick in the OPPOSITE direction of the hair growth.*Applying a thick layer of wax enables you to reuse the same strip on other parts of the hairy body until it can't stick no more. This saved loads of money - and time!!4 - Have a bowl of cold water and a mini face towel to dip into the water and wipe away the residue wax. Comes off after a few scrubs like magic!5 - Once you're all done, place the used wax strips in a bowl of hot water and let it rest for 10 minutes, and watch how easy it'll be to wash all the hairy wax off. It's amazing!!6 - I then dab baby powder over my skin and go over the little bits of missed hair with my epilator pain-free.* I haven't had to buy any new strips since purchased the cold wax a year ago.* I have thick middle-eastern hair and the wax is strong enough* I wax my lady-parts after trimming the hair a little because if it's too long, you'll need to wax the same area more than once because the wax wouldn't be able to cover every long strand - which hurts, so make sure the hair is maximum 1cm I'd say. I do a Hollywood wax with this with no problems. Sometimes my skin bleeds depending on where I am on my menstrual cycle as it makes the skin super sensitive - but this is normal, and heals real quick.Hope I've helped you ladies!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!!

Good quality wax! Better than veet
PROS: - This is a good quality wax. I used it for my inner thighs and bikini line and it left my skin very smooth- I was surprised at how relatively painless it was to wax my inner thighs with this. It has a good grip on the hairs and waxes about 95% of the area (which is really good compared to other waxing products)- it’s pretty easy to remove from your skin and doesn’t leave you in a sticky mess.CONS: - I have sensitive skin and this wax left me with red blotches on one side of my bikini line, but this might me down to my method- the stretch is awful, personally I feel like spreading the wax on my skin physically hurt more than the actual pulling off the wax, when spreading it on your skin it’s literally pulling your hairs and it hurts like hell lol, but this might be down to me not warming up the pot enough. I did about 15 seconds in the microwave- the waxing strips are supposed to be reusable but I had a difficult time trying to wash them so I had to throw them away. There aren’t any instructions on the best way to clean them, and the hairs are obviously stuck to the wax which makes it difficult to cleanTips: if you’re waxing your downstairs area, I highly suggest trimming there first. Waxing long hairs is so so painful!!Another tip is to stretch your skin when applying the wax particularly in your bikini line area because the wax will stick to other areas and make it extremely painful lolI think this is product is great considering the price. I would definitely use it again, I’d give it 4/5 stars because most of the cons are likely down to my error lol. With waxing the more you do it the easier it becomes
