Glorious 💕
I absolutely LOVE this cocoa butter. It smells so good, and melts so well into my skin. It moisturises really well without being greasy.I also love the fact that it is unrefined 🥰I’ve used it by itself, by cutting tiny chunks out of it, warming it in my hands and moisturising with it.I’ve also made my own emulsified body butter, with this as the highest percentage ingredient, to take more control of what products I put on my skin, and my skin has been so much happier than it has been with commercial body butters.I’ve only bought the cocoa butter once, and I absolutely love Naissance’s products, so I hope the quality never changes. :-)

Alright, containers not very good very hard product
I've been buying from naissance for years, unfortunately it seems they stopped selling their avocado butter and it turns out that was a mix of butters so i thought I'd buy my own to mix.I used to melt down the butters and mix with other oils for my hair, but this cocoa butter is rock hard, and they're new packaging does not withstand heat at all. Their old containers used to be able to be submerged in hot water to melt the butter enough to slide it out of the container, but this new container warped quite a bit which was irritating.Other than that they're good butters, great quality, the cocoa smells like dark choccie and the other two (mango and shea) are mostly odourless.Just a shame about the crap packaging because the cocoa is rock hard, how are you supposed to get it out if not to warm the tub a little.

Rich cocoa scent
Rich cocoa scent is noticeable once you open and once applied into the skin, you can still smell the cocoa. It's very moisterizing, makes your skin soft and Sliky smooth. Great to add to hot baths, for ultimate skin softness. I no longer buy well known body butters that contains loads of chemicals. Buying this this has saved me loads of money, I make my own conditioner, cleanser, body butter and scrubs. I also use it to soothe children's nappy rash and it works brilliant. There is loads of recipes online, how to make yours at home. Great for you and family.Refined vs. Unrefined Cocoa Butter: You can buy cocoa butter in two ways: refined or unrefined.Unrefined: Creamy yellow in colour, unrefined cocoa butter is simply cocoa butter in its raw form. It's easy to find organic raw unrefined cocoa butter and all of the above benefits naturally comes with the unrefined product. (Compare Prices) It smells pretty strongly of chocolate, which some cosmetics manufactures feel masks the scent of fragrance they are adding to their products. Many of them go with...Refined: Refined cocoa butter strips the cocoa butter of its scent and colour, making it easier to fit into cosmetic recipes without standing out. There are claims that due to the processing to eliminate colour and scent, the "good things" are also stripped.Body ButterIngredients1 cup cocoa butter1/2 cup coconut oil1/2 cup sweet almond oilInstructionsIn a bain-marie, melt down your hard butters and oils until fully liquid In a bowl, blend together the melted butters with all of the oils and set in the freezer to harden, about 20 minutes.Once the mixture is solid again, but not too hard, whip it up using an electronic whisk, a food processor with a whisk attachment, a handheld whisk and a bit of elbow grease or your Mixer until you have created fluffy white cloudsSpoon it into a clean jar or container. It will keep for months. Make sure jars are clean to avoid contamination.Simply amazing, will buy again

The luxury of Coco Butter
I use coconut oil to cook with from the same company and so I will only be speaking about this product as a moisturiser unmixed.I have been using coco butter for a while now and it gives me a nice clean skin with a darkened look and on top of suntan works great for bronzing. I just wanted it to be more pure. This is exactly what I got, it arrives in a tub broken down into rocks of coco butter as it is unrefined, the rocks are yellow and have a fine faint coco smell just as they should do. Pure natural coco butter. They are the perfect size to use in order to apply straight to the skin I use an old cleaned out frying pan melt the rock and place it in a clean cup and allow it to cool until slightly thick and then apply straight onto my skin before bed.I find this is perfectly good to use on my face as well to help my skin as opposed to the shop bought bottled versions of coco butter which leave me greasy. I can see this lasting me longer than my usual 500ml bottle and it produces a large amount of oil in each rock. Please ignore the 1 star review who ordered something they know nothing about, this is clean pure and very well presented and for such a small price apply it to your skin for a month and compare the results you will not look back for £13.Sublime.

Can chocolate really be beneficial and healthy … and GUILT FREE?
Delicious and great for use in home-made chocolate. I'm not a confectioner, I simply 'play with food' until I get products that I like making into food that I enjoy. And this stuff gives home-made chocolate that something special. I use organic cocoa, stevia, a little vanilla and cocoa butter for fantastic chocolate! Nothing else comes close - in MY opinion … although Bendick's chocolate mints come close :-)Unlike modern chocolate which is very sweet, low on nutrients and high in ingredients that bulk the product out … AND, you want another bar shortly after - this stuff satisfies. A couple of pieces of this strong home-made chic really hits all the spots … works out cheaper than bought quality chocolate and there is no guilt attached - every ingredient is good for you, full of anti-oxidants and give the brain that burst it loves. And you don't need a lot to satisfy that craving.Do your taste buds and body a favour, use cocoa butter and make some quality, healthy chocolate. Now you never thought that sentence would go together. "Healthy choc - is there such a thing?"I didn't use the cocoa butter in anything else though, so I might have missed out on other recipes - but hey - this choco-holic isn't complaining.
