Great product. Worth Investing in.
It wasn't long to cost me over £30 to replace the battery in my Seiko watch. Doing a bit of research showed I could buy the battery itself for £3.99 but the watch needed a special tool to remove the back. Doing further research came up with this toolkkt. So for approximately £20 I was able to do the job myself and can now save money changing batteries and adjusting straps on this and other watches in the future. The toolkit itself is well put together. The tools appear to be reasonably well made. They're probably not the best you can buy but for the price they are excellent. There are lots of useful components so it seems pretty comprehensive. The inclusion on a large selection of strap springs is very useful. My only criticisms are that the adjustable watch back removal tool that I needed for my Seiko is a little fiddly to use. It took me a number of attempts but I finally got there. You just nee to be a bit tenacious and try the different pins that are supplied. The other slight grumble is the wing nut for tightening the watch vice is very sharp and can cut into your fingers when turning. The vice itself is fine and is very useful. I will have to see if I can find a better made wing nut. The supplied one is one of those cheap hollow ones. I think if the manufacturer could replace this it would improve the overall quality of the toolkit. But other than these very slight issues I would thoroughly recommend this kit. It has lots of good components and is generally well made and nicely presented.

Versatile and comprehensive kit - exceptional value for money
I ordered this kit to replace a simpler inadequate two prong tool with a gimmicky watch holder from another supplier that was not up to the job. I was very surprised at how comprehensive and well considered all of the component tools and accessories in this kit were. I needed to change the battery of my waterproof Seiko watch that had been secured too tightly by the last person to change it. The three prong wrench tool in this kit with a variety of small attachments worked perfectly in releasing it, and was far superior to what I'd tried previously. I am very impressed at just how well thought out and comprehensive this kit is for the price. Jewellers had quoted me a cost of more than the price of the product just to change a battery (their standard justification was "We have to send it to the workshop"). Now for a one-off smaller payment I can do it myself in future for the negligible cost of a replacement battery. The kit comes with a very comprehensive set of precision tools for opening the back of a watch, securing the watch firmly to remove the back, and replacing items such as strap pins. There is even a YouTube video for one aspect of the kit's use. The clamp for securing the watch firmly while removing the back was far better designed and robust than another tool I had purchased previously. Much to my surprise the kit also came with a generous supply of various spare watch strap pins in a snap-case. To complete the kit it was supplied in a good quality padded zipped case with a small sheet of instructions that explained the functions of the major tools. It's hard to fault this excellent product for both it's versatility and value for money.

Mostly OK quality for a basic home cheap set
I already owned a few cheap watch tools bought individually but as I got deeper into the hobby purchased both the H&S and Eventronic kits as they each contained tools I wanted and while there was some duplication there were some tools that were obviously junk and I wanted to store some of my existing tools in the cases. This H&S kit was the cheapest at under a tenner but seems the best value with a high quality larger case. The clear plastic pin pusher is rubbish and unlike other types of pin pushers they didn't give me any spare pins so that went straight in the bin. The other kit had a better metal pin pusher and I already owned a better metal pin pusher of another design. Life is too short for bad pin pushers even if they have an integrated bracelet stand on the end. The other kit had a separate bracelet stand which IMHO is better. The spring bar tool was better than the one I already owned. It's worth getting a few different watch holder designs (this is a good one) as some watches have crowns in unusual positions or there are extra buttons for chronograph etc. The 3 point wrench is smaller than the one that comes with the other kit so won't suit removal of very large watch backs. Overall happy and would buy again if I ever needed to however i'll replace tools individually if/when they break but will buy higher quality ones now I have the basic foundation sorted so the contents of my cases will evolve over time.

Good kit useful for watches and glasses. Good to have tools necessary in one place in a strong case.

A 2025 update - This kit is still ticking along like a well-maintained Rolex
**A 2025 update to say that I still stand by my original review—this kit is still ticking along like a well-maintained Rolex.** **Original review:** Let me just say upfront—I’m never this generous with my feedback, so the fact that I’m raving about the **H&S 147pcs Watch Repair Tool Kit** should tell you something. I went in with low expectations, assuming it’d be just another cheap kit that lasts long enough to save you £30 on a battery replacement or link adjustment before falling apart. But this kit? **It’s in a league of its own.** Right out of the box, it oozes quality. The tools feel solid, precise, and genuinely made to last. No flimsy plastic or weak components here—this set is built to stand the test of time (*pun very much intended*). Whether you’re replacing batteries, resizing links, or just tinkering with your collection, this kit has everything you need, and it delivers like a pro. I started with a simple link removal, fully expecting frustration, a few choice words, and possibly a YouTube tutorial or two. But instead, **I felt like a seasoned watchmaker, effortlessly adjusting my timepiece like I had been doing it for years.** It’s that intuitive. In short: If you own a watch, you need this kit. If you own several watches, you *really* need this kit. And if you don’t own a watch, this kit might just convince you to get one—because there’s something oddly satisfying about fixing things yourself. **Final verdict:** 10/10, would *watch* again.! See what I did there?
