Super slim mini keyboard
TeckNet Backlit Bluetooth Illuminated Ultra-Slim Wireless Keyboard with Built-in Li-polymer Rechargeable Battery for All iOS, Mac, iPad, Windows and Android 3.0 and above OS TeckNet Backlit Bluetooth Illuminated Ultra-Slim Wireless KeyboardWhen I opened the box I was very pleased with this little keyboard. The keyboard is super slim, it's small but not too small so that it's difficult to use. It does feel quite sturdy and well built, it has a bit of weight to it but it's not heavy so that it would make your arms ache. The finish on the front is black brushed plastic, on the rear it has a slight rough feel to it so it grips nicely in the hands. You are also supplied with a USB cable so that you can keep the keyboard charged via your computer USB port or a purpose built USB charger. The manual states a full charge will be reached within 1 - 4 hours although it also states in the specifications that charge time is 2 hours. For me it was closer to 2 hours rather than 4 hours. There is an led which flashes when it detects the battery is getting low so you wont find the keyboard just suddenly stopping because of a flat battery.I found the keyboard very comfortable to use. Just click the 'Connect' button then go into the Bluetooth settings on your device where it was recognised instantly. The keyboard communicates nicely with my android device, it works without issue. The keys on the keyboard are a good size, when pressed you feel a smooth slight click to each key, they really do have a nice soft but positive feel to them. This keyboard has the added advantage of being illuminated. There are 7 colours to choose from which are Blue, Red, Green, Purple, Yellow, Sapphire and Cyan. There are two brightness options via a dedicated key on the keyboard, you can change the colour by holding down the illumination button then press page up or page down. I love the illumination, the colours are not so bright that they are a distraction, they are bright enough to allow you to see the keys in the dark. The illumination is a soft colour rather than a dazzling colour. If you don't wish to have the keys illuminated, maybe to help prolong the battery life, you can switch them off via the same illumination button. It is claimed that this has a range of 10 metres, standby time of 200 hours, uninterrupted working time of 100 hours and battery life of 3 years. The function keys along the top of the keyboard offer various shortcuts and functions which are described fully in the supplied User Guide. You can change the functions via the 'Function key' although I haven't quite got my head around that yet.Box Contents -1X Mini keyboard1X USB charging cable1X User manual1X Warranty cardI do rather like this keyboard, it is a lot more responsive than the previous one I was using. I also like the soft illuminated keys which make using the keyboard in the dark very easy. It is very slim but also sturdy so it slides nicely beside my cushion on my armchair without fear of it being broken, although I wouldn't recommend sitting on it - Highly recommended! If you found my review helpful please click 'Yes' below, thank you.

The back lighting is a nice aesthetic feature
Taken me ages to pick a portable keyboard to use with my Shield Tablet, I've high standards being used to a mechanical gaming keyboard on a PC.There are a few different branded versions of this it seems, and I don't know if there's any difference, but this one from TeckNet seems alright. The logo isn't on the space bar, by the way, its on the top left bezelAll in all its simple, quick to set up and use (used with Android 5.1 so far, can't comment on any other OS), comes with instruction and warranty cards and a single, quite short USB to Micro B (standard for most phones etc) cable. The back lighting is a nice aesthetic feature, with a choice of colours and two brightness settings,Its super light, and the front plastic has a faux brushed aluminium texture. For some reason the whole keyboard is slightly concave, probably to do with a slight warping of the back panel but it doesn't affect function. The keys use a standard scissor switch, so they're low profile, about as loud as your average modern laptop, and it actually only takes a short time to get used to the spacing - I wouldn't say its cramped, but its obviously a departure for anyone who's used to full sized desktop keyboards. The F keys work as alternate functions in Android, e.g. a home and a back button, media keys and volume etc, all seems to work fineAs stated, in Android 5.1 the caps lock light doesn't register, but the button still works so you just have pay attention to what you're writingGood quality for the price and gets the job done

This is a GEM for any Mac or iOS user!
I bought this in a hurry when we messed up the Apple Wireless keyboard that came with our iMac. I didn't expect much of it: the USB full sized keyboard we bought at the same time from another vendor proved to be just about the most annoying keyboard ever for a Mac user even though it said it was Mac compatible. This one, however, has proved to be such a gem I have just ordered two more. The only downside to this is that it's not proofed against liquid spills. So when my dear hubby spilled sweetened tea on it the letter 'n' stopped working and other keys became interchanged. I also found it wouldn't connect at one point but I think that might have been the computer rather than the keyboard (ruined my wonderful new iMac by trying to restore a workplace backup onto a new log-in on it; and, even though it didn't work and I deleted the new log-in, it now thinks it's a work computer and has antivirus and all the ghastly slow-down security restrictions the workplace computers have - warning: don't EVER consider doing that!).Those issues aside, it's the nearest thing to an Apple keyboard I've found. The keys are all in the right place: the @ sign is over the number 2; the command key is to the right of the option key; speech marks are to the right of the colon. And better than the Apple wireless keyboard, it DOESN'T NEED BATTERIES but recharges from a USB connection! You can type quickly on this and it has a very pleasing feel. It feels quite weighty and expensive and is robust. It survived being dropped on the floor more than once. I also hooked it up to my iOS devices and had no problem there either. I bought another one to give to someone who is trying to write a book on an iPad. I would consider this the ideal companion to an iPad if you need to type a lot.
