Aesthetics: looks really great, just as good as I hoped it would in person. The white is nice crisp and clear white, not greyish or creamy. The red is also a nice bright light and feel it would reflect car headlights a little to remind drivers that you have just as much right to be on the road as them! Really aerodynamic design and great red accent on the rear of the helmet makes you feels good and comfortable - which is a bonus for something that will save your life in the even of a crash. I personally like the look of an abundance of holes and I don't think it will hamper protection at all, it is particularly useful for someone like me who sweats... a lot.Safety: I am fortunate enough to say that I have not smacked my head with it on yet, but after a few swift palm taps and squeezes on key impact zones like the front, back and sides I certainly feel safer on my bike with it than without it. The sturdy fasterner at the back, the thin but adequate red lining and the thick but not intrusively so red chin padding ensure a snug fit. This of course is key to protecting your head as it allows the helmet to do it's job properly of displacing the force throughout the helmet instead of your skull! It has the right EU health and safety certification on it which is always a good sign and the build quality feels like it could offer greater protection than that benchmark.Comfort: Further to the paragraph above really, I would have liked a little more padding in the red liner on the interior of the helmet but it is adequate enough so that the hard polystyrene does not feel bumby on your head. The chin padding is good, it certainly does not feel cheap or that it will lose grippiness over time as it has a unique velcro that I have not seen before - really good quality stuff and the grip it offers is enough to keep any excess material folded into it so you don't have it flapping in your wake. It also feels pretty light which is useful for carrying it about when it's not on your head!Recommend?: Certainly. Quality is definately above the £15/20 mark of helmets and also above what I expected for £30 ( I have had in the past and I would go as far as saying it feels like it should be a £50 helmet from halfords. (BONUS INFO) I would also recommend the white and red AWE helmet lights they offer too as they fit on OK and add extra safety in the night.

Like this helmet but my 2 gripes are the chin pad is not central. This may be a set up issue but if I move the strap further round the joint ends up tight under my ear.The second is the lines are not clean from the dark colour of depth of helmet to the white surface.

Extremely happy with this purchase. Was a bit reluctant at first as was not sure if it may have been too big after measuring my head and it being 56cm and this helmet being sized at 58 -61cm but I need not have worried, as the straps were very easy to adjust and the adjustable slider and roller wheel adjuster on the back made for an absolutely comfortable yet secure fit. Also the Chin Strap cover is a comfortable feature which just adds to the great look of this helmet.The helmet is extremely light too and again, I have always used Giro Helmets but making the switch to AWE was a great move and it knocks spots off the Giro I have had for the last year or so and about half the weight. and half the price!Its very well ventilated too and the addition of the front internal mesh keeps flies and debris from getting in and distracting from the ride.So for a really light, comfortable yet strong and secure helmet, you wont go far wrong with this one. At last no more long distance helmet induced headaches.

I was expecting this to be too tight, however it turned out to be too loose. Wouldn't recommend.

Unhappy. The chin strap is very fiddly as to get it to the correct tightness around your chin you sacrifice a lot of excess strap hanging out by the side of your head, no there is not a place to tuck it believe me I and several others tried. The strap also broke with little difficulty all before I had managed to get it suited to ride with. Waste of money imo.

As an amateur cyclist this is very comfy, lightweight and a great purchase. Stylish, fits well with my cycling sunglasses and is well ventilated. Fortunately haven't had any bumps but feels well protected.

Der Helm ist gestern, nach nur einem Tag Lieferzeit, angekommen. Passt perfekt, sehr leicht und bequem, ich finde auch das er sehr schick aussieht, aber entscheidend ist ja letztendlich die Funktion, da sehe ich aber eigentlich kein Problem. Was absolut unschlagbar ist, ist das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis....!!!!Von mir eine klare KaufempfehlungZusatz: Hab den Helm inzwischen mehrfach benutzt und muss sagen ich bin hoch zufrieden, der Helm sitzt bei mir perfekt und ich merke ihn kaum, im Gegensatz zu meinem vorherigen. Ich bin immer noch begeistert und würde ihn sofort wieder kaufen!!!!

A distanza di qualche giorno, e dopo qualche uscita per complessivi 400 km, qualche parola su questo casco:CONFEZIONEBuona. Il casco è arrivato integro e senza alcun difetto. Nello scatolo è possibile trovare le istruzione e dei cartellini con le varie certificazioniDESIGN ED ASPETTOBuono, niente di avveniristico, una forma abbastanza classica ma realizzata bene.Interessante il bicolore nella parte posteriore, nonché le due alette leggermente sporgentiVESTIBILITÀOttima. Imbottiture nei punti giusti e rotella posteriore che permette una regolazione fine. La mia taglia è una 59, ed ho presola 58-62. Regolando le cinghiettine ed con mezzo giro sulla rotella ho ottenuto un buon fit. L'ho poi usato con un sottocascoinvernale e non ho dovuto spostare più di tanto le regolazioni. Anche per chi ha una circonferenza cranica più ampia noncredo ci siano grossi problemi. Malgrado la forma leggermente bombata non ho notato un effetto "uovo" particolare, ilcasco è abbastanza avvolgente,IN USOOttimo. La sua qualità principale è senza dubbio la leggerezza, non appesantisce il capo e non da assolutamente fastidio.Stante la stagione invernale non ho potuto verificarne la ventilazione, se ne parlerà in estateooDA RIVEDERELe cinghiettine sono un pò lunghe. Dopo averlo regolato me ne "avanzavano" diversi cm, molti di più di quanti era possibilerinchiudere nell'apposito raccoglitore sottomento (quello rosso in figura). Ho risolto tagliandone qualche cm.Lo stesso sottomento mi ha lasciato un pò perplesso, ed alla fine l'ho tolto (la sua unica funzione è quella di racchiudere la cinghietta)in quanto non sono riuscito a trovare una configurazione che mi permettesse di averlo "sotto" il mento e non sulla guancia.Considerando il prezzo veramente competitivo (pagato 35€) vale decisamente i soldi che costa, Certo non è un marchiodi quelli più noti, ed in verità in giro se ne vedono pochissimi, ma ha un rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile eper me le 5 stelle sono meritatissime.PSOvviamente il test vero è quello in fase di caduta, ma speriamo di non doverlo mai testare........

Sehr preiswerter Helm zwar kein Profi Helm aber für den Preis Top! Schon mehrere +50Km Touren gemacht aufm Rennrad und bis jetzt immernoch sehr bequem nur zu Empfehlen
