I bought this product after doing a lot of research. I had an open surgery appendectomy at the end of July which culminated in a combined dose of antibiotics which totally wiped out my insides. I went down the probiotic route which I hoped would restore my gut flora, but my main problem at this time was gastritis. Basically my stomach was inflamed and the majority of what I ate would either cause me cramping during the day or cramping during the night, or both. I did not want to go back to the doctors as I was sure that another dose of antibiotics would be prescribed so I gave myself 4 weeks to sort it out, then I would resign myself to the GP visit. Firstly I tried the low FODMAP diet, this helped a little with digestion but did not help the cramps. Then I read that probiotics, low sugar, seaweed extract (to feed the probiotics) and broccoli sprouts could possibly help. Unfortunately you would need to eat several pounds of broccoli sprouts to have any benefits and then I found this extract. I have to say that within a few days of taking all of these supplements and reducing my sugar my gastritis symptoms disappeared, all of them, bearing in mind that I had had these for around 8 weeks in total it does not seem coincidental to me. I would not have hesitated to go to the GP if this had not have worked but I always think that it is worth trying the natural route so long as your symptoms are not too extreme, and this worked for me.

These are a good supplement, but it’s ridiculous I paid £14.95 in August and now they are charging £18.95 3 months later - why such a steep price increase?

I bought this supplement to give to my 5 year old with autism after reading some promising research. This has been by far the most beneficial intervention he has ever received! My son is severely affected by autism and is non-verbal. He had no expressive language and didn't really understand language. He could not feed himself, was not toilet trained, had very poor fine motor skills, made very little eye contact, was CONSTANTLY stimming, couldn't dress himself, hardly slept at night....the list goes on and on. Within two weeks of taking one capsule twice daily, his stimming reduced greatly and he started sleeping through the night. He started feeding himself independently and can now use both a fork and spoon! He now dresses himself(with a little help sometimes) and is toilet trained. He biggest wow has been the social gains. He is very interested in interacting with others and makes great eye contact. He has started signing and is making great approximations at words. I am so grateful to have found this supplement. I have spent YEARS trying all kinds of expensive therapies and treatments which made absolutely no difference. The progress he has made with Broccoli sprouts is far greater than I could ever have hoped for. I have my boy back! Don't get me wrong, he is still severely affected by autism, but now he is HERE as opposed to being lost in his own little world. He is making such amazing progress that the school is currently reviewing his SEN statement every 10 weeks. I MOST DEFINITELY recommend this supplement.
