Works okay with my cats. Not had any other cats enter the house. Gets a bit brittle after 2 to 3 years. On my second one.

I'm not sure where this sits within the cat flap hierarchy or even if such a thing exists but this is a functional and few frills example of a cat flap. It was delivered quicly and packaged well. It comes with installation instructions and a printed template for the door or wall cut out. All the components were present including three different lengths of screws and a "Tunnel extender" to fit your door thickness. The instructions are easy to follow and typically it can be installed within an hour. There is a "bravery" moment when you make the first cut or drill hole in your door but you're commited once you start. The locking system is very simple, allow traffic in or out, both ways or locked from both directions. Its not made of the most robust materials as it is constructed from a moderately thick plastic but honestly it seems sufficient for its task. You will get a slight draft through the slight gap around the flap, the brush strip is intended to mimimise this but there is only so much it can do. The operation of the flap isn't particularly loud and the magnet is sufficient to prevent it flapping in the wind. The template does have you cut a larger hole than is strictly necessary but it does allow you to adjust the fit slightly to ensure it is level. Over all it is exactly as advertised, a simple cat flap at a reasonable price, my cat doesn't use it unless I hold it open for her but that is because she expects the door to be opened and closed on demand and will not lower herself to use a flap.

I was very surprised to find that I could find the same cat flap that I had bought some years ago. It was so easy to fix as the hole was already there, thats why it was so easy to fit. I had been looking locally and could not find anything big enough,so thank you amazon once again you came to the rescue. PETER BRYANT

Hi, The door swings freely but does not appear to want to stay in the closed position. Can you tell me please what is wrong and how to fix it? Thank You!

Good size door for larger cats, (my larger long haired cat wouldn't use the smaller one we previously had). Quiet open & close rather than the usual clatter, I wasn't sure about the amount of draught it would let in, with only having brushes, but it seems to blow in the wind less than out old catflap. It was slightly fiddly to fit the screws while holding both parts together, so would recommend having a second person to help.

I've had the Staywell cat verandas in two different windows for well over a decade. The plastic doors have become brittle with age and I have super glued them many times. Since the cage is welded, you can't swap out the piece inside the veranda. This pet door is not marketed as a replacement part for the veranda but it is an exact match and lines up perfectly with the interior piece! I'm glad I took a chance and have ordered another for my other veranda. May cats and I couldn't be happier as they can now enjoy their verandas for at least another 10 years.

Dimensioni ottime per gatti o piccoli cani da 8kg. Essendo in materiale plastico semi trasparente montato sul vetro della porta finestra risulta poco invadente. Le istruzioni per il montaggio sono incluse e sono chiare. Si può installare su vetro camera (doppi vetri per intenderci).

A distanza di anni posso dire che è stata un'ottima scelta. Il gatto è libero di uscire ed entrare quando vuole e non dobbiamo lasciare aperta sempre la porta finestra. Materiali resistenti e per non dover forare un vetro lo abbiamo solo sostituito con del plexiglas...più facile da forare e più economico.

Me a venido fenomenal para poder tener el arenero en la terraza y que no entre frío,mis dos gatos están aprendiendo a usarlo poco a poco y les cuesta algo de trabajo conseguir abrir la portezuela debido al imán que tiene pero poco a poco van aprendiendo y así ,como ya he dicho,cierra perfecto y no entra frío
