Update the bios and download Armoury Crate.
I got this board because I wanted the 6 sata ports.Only X670 and X670-E have the extra PCIe lanes for this.3x SATA for DVD-ROM and 3.5 + 2.5 HDD hot swappable ports, and 2x SATA for some extra storage (3TB HDDs) with an extra spare.Armoury Crate is naff, but you need it to begin with, otherwise you're gonna get really confused as to why you can't get the WiFi to work.So make sure to use Armoury Crate to update all your drivers then:UPDATE YOUR BIOS!The bios you're looking for on the Asus website MUST be for the "WIFI" version (there's a non-wifi version)I believe the file name should end up as "PX670PW.CAP"I did it wrong to begin with (with the non-wifi bios) but it didn't brick the motherboard thank goodness.I think it's because all the different bios' have different checksums - so it knew I was doing it wrong and wouldn't continue to prevent me breaking it.After you've successfully updated the bios, make sure to use Armoury Crate again to update/install your WiFi (and other) drivers again.UPDATE:Over a year in use now. I've added an NVMe SSD, the Kingston KC3000 (gen4 7000MBs/7000MBs read/write) I thought about getting PCIe 5.0 (gen5) but honestly what's the point right now, it's so expensive compared to gen4 and am I really going to notice the difference of anything over 7000 MB/s? (7 Gigabytes a second!! That's insane already!)I put a fresh install of Windows 11 the new SSD and it's incredibly speedy.Windows go BRRRRRRRR!!!! hahaI've had no problems with this board, I'm very much looking forward to putting in a Zen 5 or Zen 6 processor into it in the future, probably an X3D chip.EXPO worked immediately with my 6000 MT/s RAM.WiFi has been perfect, Bluetooth also fantastic (several BT devices at the same time and no issues)Will update again in 2025 when I put a new chip (CPU) in it!

Good motherboard for nas
Using this for my Nas/proxmox server. It supports ecc ram, just make sure to check the compatibility. Has 2.5gig networking. Would have been nice if it had more pcie slots and more sata slots but for the price it's ok

How cheap ASUS becoming
First off, On-board power LED absent. The most essential basic in a motherboard is NOT INCLUDED . This means many users will end up damaging components due to not being certain whether motherboard is powered or not. I have definitely damaged RAM before due to not noticing the dull led on an Asus mobo before. But now nothing? Zero LED?? I don't care how good the motherboard is in other respects, or the fact I was previously an asus fanboy. Imagine the motherboard has been equipped with tpm and thunderbolt header. But they think power good LED is too expensive!!! I am currently able to buy 200 smd LED in bulk for less than 1p a piece, don't you think ASUS can source smd LED for less? For Christ's sake Asus. Saving a penny for every few mobos is causing damage to the end user components if not the mobo itself just to save less than 1p!! . Another source of hassle for builders is the POST beep has been reduced to an almost inaudible half-hearted chirp . So quiet, I actually don't hear the post chirp half the time even if I strain. The problem is, if I am troubleshooting and can't hear the beep half the time then I wont know what the problem is. Also I'm not happy with PCB thickness and smd components have become unusually small and appear vulnerable. I wonder how much flex the thin PCB will tolerate before I get a serious problem at the heart of my system . For goodness sake Asus my graphics card has thicker PCB. ASUS, what the.. including a printed manual, an ugly wifi antenna, which I already have 3 of, but cutting corners where the product quality is visibly reduced to the point it will actually destroy itself due to poor essentials like power good LED, thin PCB and a shy chirp instead of a solid beep? Cheap is being hard written all over the ASSus brand now. Stop your mad money saving tactics which affect the product quality, instead save on fuel, electricity, printing costs or at least save your money by skipping silly wifi antenna aesthetics and just give us a normal antenna. But don't compromise the heart of, the very thing that I came to buy! You have lost another fanboy because my next upgrade will definitely be Gigabyte (other fuming Asus reviews coming)

calidad precio

m2
m2 main slot (with heatsink) is gen 4. AI fan program does not correspond with a good stund profile. Quick up and down makes you notice the fans all the time. Default off for OS on m2 slot, default off for ddr5 high frequency is a bit of a questionmark. Otherwise, no big issues. Armourcrate comes with some suggested stuff like Norton av. Overall as expected. Install first memstick pairs in correct slot or it will not start. sound and led/Power pins are a bit fiddly as usual. dont miss the 2 extra sata connectors on inside side of mobo. enough material on yt to solve install issues.
