The best but glad I got them when they were cheaper
These are great and I love that they're bigger than normal sized cotton pads. The bigger size is perfect for nappy changes and baby sponge baths, and I'm sure would be perfect for removing make up, applying miscellar water, toner, etc. However, I bought them a few weeks ago when the 12-pack was only £12 or so which was a no brainer. The price has since increased to £21.49 and I don't think I'd buy a big pack like that for that price.

BEST COTTON WOOL PADS EVEN NEO NATAL NURSES WERE IMPRESSED
My son spent 11 days in neo natal where your only aloud to use cotton pads and water I bought a couple of packs of these to see what like they were as other brands were not good the cotton wool kept coming off and sticking to him. I was extremely impressed with these cotton pads they don't break up , they are so soft and gentle on my son so much so that since getting him home we don't use wipes on him at all we have bought boxes of these cotton pads from Amazon and use them with warm water they are excellent and with just using water and cotton pads we have had no problems with bum rashes which most baby wipes cause the only other thing we use is bapanthem nappy cream just for moisturising his bottom and to take the redness away from round his legs where the nappy sits. The nurses that were caring for our son were also impressed with these pads we stocked up his cupboard in hospital with them for when the nurses changed him during the night.

Price jumped up more than double!
Price was £12 for 12 packs, now jumped up to £28 for the same amount!(I used these to clean and dry during a baby’s nappy change)Pros - Nice and thick.Cons - Both sides feel similar but I think one side is better used when damp as it’s softer and fluffy, however, when dry, it can stick all over the area you are drying.UPDATE: when using these pads to dry baby’s bum, bits of cotton sticks all over the skin. One side is slightly more fluffy than the other side.

Johnson's Baby Cotton Pads when I first bought these from Amazon they were a great price.Although they are a great price . They have become very expensive now. Fortunately, found them in some high street stores cheaper - shame

Great replacement for cotton balls
I use the cotton pads to clean my two and a half month old baby when I change his nappy. I always soak them in warm water first as this way it would be better at cleaning and also the baby will like them more. I previously used cotton balls until my baby was about one and half month old and then I came to the conclusion that I was just using too many balls and it was taking me a very long time to actually change the nappy. These cotton pads cover a bigger area, hence they are more efficient. The quality of these cotton pads is great, I have absolutely no complaint here. You get 50 pads in a box, but trust me as a parent you will go trough them quite quickly, so 12 boxes will probably be sufficient for no more than two weeks.

Good quality and great value
We've bought three boxes of these since our little one was born a few weeks ago. They're a decent size (~3x3") so perfect for cleaning babies bums with a bit of warm water. I think the smaller circular ones (the ones geared towards removing make up and nail varnish) would be too small.Very good quality - they don't leave bits behind like cotton wool pleats do. Excellent value too; far cheaper than anything you can get in supermarkets.
