HEXBUG 477-2446-30GL30 nano Glow in the Dark

My kitten loves this item and it keeps him busy for hours until the single battery finally dies. It doesn’t run on my carpet but runs great on hard floors and movements do seem randomised well, only occasionally circling around.

Got it for my little girl as a birthday present, she put it down for the cat. Cat loved inspecting it, lots of fun. The true magic happened when she started brushing the cat with it. Now cat is obsessed and following my daughter around for more nano-brush strokes, hilarious.For the intended purpose it works brilliantly, highly recommend. Had to write a review and mention the brush thing, just be careful in-case your cat actually hates the idea!

I have one real Hexbug Glow in the Dark and one fake one, I bought from a marketplace seller. The seller was unaware it was fake and kindly refunded me for it.Both have pros and cons. It is easy to tell the difference between a real and a fake. The fakes have misspellings on the packet. It says 'Lows in the Dark' instead of 'Glows in the Dark'. The real ones also have an online code to use on the Hexbug website, whereas the fakes don't.The real one glows much brighter, I can almost see it glowing in daylight! It only needs a weak shadow to be seen. The fake is a different colour. The top is a darker blue and the bottom is plain white. The real one is a more powdery blue on top and clear dark blue on the bottom, so you can see inside.The real one is much more rubbery and has very flexible legs. The fake is still flexible but has a much more plasticy feel. I don't know which i better yet. The rubber feels nicer, but the plastic may last longer and wear better.However the real one is SO NOISY! It's like an electric toothbrush. The fake is nearly silent. I bought these for my cat to chase and he was a little bit frightened of the real one at first, after being used to the quieter fake one. But he did chase it after a while.The fake is also much faster than the real one. I use these in my Catit track which is meant for LED balls. The fake laps the real one within two circuits of my Catit track. It started pushing the real on around, even when it is pushing the LED ball too! You would think the extra work would slow it down. So I can't fault the speed and strength of the fake. This was with both bugs having brand new batteries.I'm not sure that one is better than the other, they are just different. The fake is quieter and faster. The real one glows brighter, feels better to hold and comes with the code to play online.My cat enjoys both of them. But he finds them a little predictable now. He will play for 5 - 10 minutes, then just watches them from a distance.

Good product fun to use and packaged very well. Good value for money

As a mum I love these little bugs. My 6 year old loves them too. Very quick moving, glow in the dark so fun at bedtime watching the bug whizzing round the floor. Good price, also batteries available for the bugs on Amazon too. Great birthday gifts for parties. Lots of fun had with these as they come in different colours too. Fast delivery and good packaging.

my cats love them however they don't glow in the dark

He either sits there fixated watching it scurry around or we put it in a box with holes in and he tries to catch it through the holes.Loads of fun, moves like something a cat would hunt and keeps him entertained.

Great toy for kitten, glows slightly in the dark, and sometimes stands up straight after going on it’s side by itself!

My cat love it!! At first, he was scare of the bug but he starts to fallow it after a day... Will definitly recommand this product :)
