Worth spending the money when you get this sort of quality. Lots of storage pockets for allsorts. Deliberately chose for the single shoulder sling.

I love Maxpedition
I am a big fan of Maxpedition. This is a perfect addition to my collection. I know its meant to be a mans bag but I hate changing bags and am using this Sitka as my EDB and also on weekends. The front pockets fit my phone and kindle and the key keeper for my house keys. The Janice bag fits my makeup and my hubby's tablets. The main pocket is for my sun glasses, purse, documents and ipad. The outer pocket against the back fits my scarf and waterproof poncho. Either of the two large pockets fit my laptop. It fits snug and comfortable on my back which is great for walking to the bus stop and on weekend excursions. The only problem with maxpediton bags is that it is tempting to overfill it and gets too heavy. I always check the weight, lol. Definitely recommend this.

Expensive but nicely made
I bought this to carry some of my lure fishing tackle having seen them well recommended elsewhere.Beware not to fill it with heavy items; I find the single sling style strap is not especially comfortable to wear continually for several hours especially for continual casting and retrieving.I was disappointed with the weatherproofing of the material when the contents got quite damp, albeit in a heavy shower, maybe I was expecting too much, but they do cost enough.I would probably not replace it, but would go for a twin strap rucksack type pack if needed.

General impression is very strong build quality. Evidently a very well made, specified and durable product made for tough use - which suits me well but its certainly not an aesthetic softie if that's what you're looking for. I went for the larger 'Kodiak' version from the same maker in the end, but that's merely a capacity vs compactness issue.

Good for urban environment - not so much for forest
Great design. I bought it for my short hunting ventures. The manufacturer has good YouTube clip explaining things about it. What I particularly liked is that it allows you to keep one shoulder free for rifle sling and you can easily turn it around and bring to your chest without taking it off.Right size for small things for your trip, water, some ammo, gloves etc for 4-8 hour trip. However a few big minuses, one would not expect a 100+ pound tiny plastic bag go have:(1) WHY did they use so many strings and ropes ??? and(2) WHY not have normal zippers as every other bag in the world but instead to have pieces of ropes tied to the zip chain??? - Try to go trough bushes or forest - it is catching every single branch. Really somebody should talk to the manufacturer. I think they had made a great bag and then though, you know, it is too good, lets mess it a bit.And (3) that third stripe across your chest is really too small, too short for average man and the bag does turn around on your back... that is not so bad, but could be a deal breaker for big guys.Still the best bag around for this size... - other small ones even less practical...
