Bought this in anticipation of the arrival of our new six month old kitten. He arrived eleven days ago, and despite my having bought rather a lot of toys, he is fixated with this one. He has anoth feather wand...no not interested, it has to be this one. Even if we stop dragging and flicking it for him, he'll pick it up and play with it by himself. All of which means that I arrived home today to find the rod and line.....but no sign of the attachment! Haven't tried fixing one of the others on it yet. Want to find the missing one before I take him to the Vet😹😹😹It is very good, solid, comes with three different attachments. Our cats all seem to like the bunch of large feathers best. It may have only taken Sebastian ten days to "kill" it, but this is a kitten on a mission, and we will definitely buy him a new one. This time we will have to hide it when we're out! This is him in action, out to destroy the activity centre now he's destroyed his favourite toy😹😹😹Update: After four months and a bit the score is Sebastian 4 Feather wand 2. Just taken delivery of a second wand having discovered you can get replacement feather bits to clip on. They come with 3X3 toys. Had to buy another wand because he finally snapped the line. Only surprise is that has lasted as long given that all four of our cats play with it, even our eighteen year old Persian. Really good value for money.

Well an undoubted success. the furries love this product. played instantly and the quality of the feathers are great. they even managed to find the refills and run off with their "prey". I like the fact that you screw the rod to extend it. I love the fact that each refill is different. oh and the bells, which did drive me crazy, of course the furries love them, plus it's kind of lovely to hear them when you are not in the room, as you know the cats are happy playing away. a wee bit wary that the bells could come off though and get swallowed.only a couple of things were a negative from a design point of view;the attachment clasp for feathers is great at it's job but does not look particularly nice but it's a much sturdier clasp compared to another famous brand.the string on the rod has snapped already,in less than a week. dunno if it's the design or the fact that my lot just love the toy so much. will have to fix it with knots and glue as the cord is slippery because of what it is made from.All four of my cats are different, blue point Siamese aged 6, fat tabby aged 6, part Mainecoon aged 2 and 3/4 and a 15 year old who'd never seen a toy until I rescued him this year. all of them want to play with it, even the packaging too!!

The media could not be loaded.  What makes this toy so brilliant is that when I'm feeling lazy I can sit on the sofa or in bed and still drive my cat wild with excitement with just a little twitch of my wrist. Any movement of the hand translates through the whole toy to become a realistic prey movement: it's down to the whippiness of the stick and the overall construction that gives a good bounce and liveliness to whatever's at the other end. None of my cats have liked the big feathered end (too scary?) and the long soft downy end gets eaten to nothing pretty fast but the yellow end is a huge hit and lasts well, especially given the amount of pouncing and chewing it endures. No cat toy I have bought before (including the Dabird) comes near this one for sustained entertainment. I am just buying another one so I have one on every floor - my cat looks at me reproachfully when we're in the basement because I don't have one there to play with! The company are helpful and respond quickly. They are excellent and so is their product. It won't last for ever (what toy does?) but it lasts well, and any failures can usually be mended. It feels great to play with it - our nighttime sessions when I stand at the bottom of the stairs and the cat crouches at the top to leap and catch as the feather swishes over his head are almost as enjoyable for me as they are for him. Being a Bengali, he sometimes leaps so hard he falls down the stairs but that too is a tribute to the Feather Wand!

I thought the packaging was very smart and the product looks and feels very good for the money. My cat absolutely loved it. There was a problem though and I don't know if it was just the batch I received but the rubber part that holds the feather flyer or fur tail came out on the first play. To show a nob of glue that obviously had not adhered properly to the rubber holder. I thought it may just be the one flyer that was affected but alas it was all three. This was a real, real shame. As I think the idea with the changeable heads and spare wand is a fantastic idea. BUT it must last longer than one play. My cat keeps climbing up to the shelf with the packet but I can't get it out again for him to play with at the moment as the flyers are detached from the rubber holders. I am not sure what glue I will need to get this fixed . It's SUCH a shame.UPDATE from this issue. The seller got in contact with me and we discussed the issue and they very kindly sent me a replacement kit. I am happy to say that now my cat has been playing with the new set of teasers they have not broken. I do have to put them away after play as if I left the item with the cat he would carry on chewing the feathers till they were all gone. But that is not the toy's fault just my cat's. SO as long as its put away after play its been sturdy enough to last many chase sessions. Very pleased. :)
