Great & affordable for use with a cone for making filter coffee.
I got it to collect my coffee from my cone & filter. Previously I used a jam jar, which wasn't quite big enough and always spilled when pouring. This is a perfect size for two or 3 mugs full and also looks cute with the industrial feel. Good price. I love it!

How Hipster Am I??
What a quality piece of kit! I use this to filter coffee into from a Hario V60 and it does the job great! Helps me measure how much coffee I'm getting as well as the weight when combined with a scale. I've bought 2 of these now and absolutely love them! Fast shipping too.

These are good beakers
Tried it on hot plate - perfect for use if you are new to using these beakers they will shatter if they are subjected to extremes of temp.

Very very nice
It's very sturdy, nicely designed and came very carefully packaged. I think it is a versatile beaker and you can measure even 50 mL easily.

Wildly inaccurate
I bought that back in Dec 2015 and used it for a few science experiments with my daughter. When I recently came to use it to carefully measure something for cooking I found that the measurements are wildly inaccurate. 100 ml showed as about 60 ml here (increments on this beaker are in 50 ml's) and 300 ml showed at 240 ml. I checked these against THREE other measuring tools in my kitchen. The one I was sent is by ACADEMY. It does say approx. vol. against the scale, however I could approx to this level of accuracy using a drinking glass. I would expect an item designed such as this to be accurate to within a couple ml's not by this wide range. My recommendation would be not to buy.

graduation marks could be improved
Beakers are fine (Boro 3.3) so no problems with that but graduation marks could be better they are not very smooth

Using as an alternative measuring jar
As a measuring jar I don't think it's the most accurate, but it pours well and is good for quick measuring. I also use it as a glass to drink water and is a perfect size for it. It also seems very sturdy.
