very good!
I used this last year wrap an additional foam handle cover to my snow shovel and the wrapping is still intact. Looks like it will hold.

100% works!
I didn’t order enough for my project but this would easily work for it’s intended use. The length is sufficient and would work for a std window unit for a portable a/c.For my my project, I wanted to see if I could vent the portable a/c to atm via the dryer vent line running an exhaust line of around 12’ through the garage attic.Note, I have not sealed the attic door nor is the garage properly insulated. Wall temp as of 3PM in sept. is about 88F and garage door not insulated is 94F. So attic heat is dumping into the garage until I actually cut a 4” hole to run the line to the attic. At first, I found out the hard way if the garage is not properly insulated, or the length of the portable a/c unit exceeds say 12’ with sharp bends on then it will cycle 2 mins on and 5 mins off or just not cycle. I’ve verified my hypothesis with a local vendor to swap units to rule out a faulty unit. I can’t believe they let me swap out 4 units.Basically the discharge pressure increases and the compressor will overheat. You can just turn it off and on if it does run but stops after 10 mins but that’s a code for it thermal throttling itself telling you that hey maybe your garage is really hot and this is a bad idea. Yes I probably should’ve gotten a split case but you know what. This is for science and I’m too currently invested otherwise to do so!Nevertheless, I still tested and so far if the garage isn’t too hot it will work properly if I crack the garage door attic to my t splice of the dryer line. I did install a damper to the portable a/c to the split but not on the dryer due to the lint would probably clog there.Thank you for my rant! I will order more unless I can get sponsored some how. I want to cut a hole in the garage but wanted to test to make sure the portable ac would run.

EASY TO USE PRODUCT
This product works very well as for the freeze protection and have only tested it in the low 20's. The actual tape, however, does not stick to itself very well, so I recommend wrapping the start and finish with 3M 88 electrical tape, or another rubber tape or it will unravel. Otherwise, it is a good product for South Texas.

Nope
I was excited about using it but disappointed the next day when I went out and looked at it. The tape didn’t stay stuck to itself and I had to duct tape it. Thought this would be the answer to making wrapping the pipes a little easier but I’ll be going back to pipe insulation and duct tape.

Great Practical Christmas Present
I have a gentleman friend who insists on only recieving practical presents. While I was laughed at for buying these for pipes that hadn’t burst yet, it will be as low as 17 degrees for the next week almost the entire week. Both the faucet covers and this are now being used. Easy to use. Works well. Grandma got the last laugh.

Didn't work for me...
It may be user error, but I'm not sure. For whatever reason, this tape did not stick to anything, including itself. As soon as I had wrapped my pipes, it had already begun to come off. I had returned all the rolls I hadn't opened for a refund.
