[Multi Voltage] Car Charger 12W Switching Replacement Power Adapter for Speakers Smart Phone Micro USB Charging Devices

Got this to try and see if it would power myPrestiege ProSelect Dog Fan which needs 6v and has a central positive plug and a outer negative. Takes 4 x C Batteries. This works perfectly. It comes with several different connector options - all centre positive - and a voltage selector switch. Set it to 6VAnd choose the most secure fit - we used one of the larger ones which had a yellowish ring at the tip. Works fantastic. For those of you with Landorovers don’t forget to UNPLUG from the fan and switch to battery as once the landrovers are locked all sockets are powered off! So annoying. But worth remembering when the power cord of the dog fan is in battery’s won’t kick in you need to remove the power cord to activate the batteries. In other vehicles like a kuga where the sockets stay live this will work great even when the vehicle is locked. It also seemed to have a usb c connection as well as allThe various dc connections. Tip if it has a dc power socket and takes batteries add upThe batteries Volts to see what volt setting to use on the dial. This would also work on a Cool Dog Fan as well as they are almost exact to the Prestiege pro select dog fans. I don’t know about other dog fans but if the positive is the centre of the dc plug then this should work just select the right voltage.

Handy tool to have when you only have a 12V supply. It is very adaptable and easy to use.

The plastic case that encloses the voltage selector was not glued or clipped together and just fell out of the plastic bag it was in, exposing the wiring and circuit board. Not the end of the world, hopefully some super glue and clothes pegs have fixed it, but you shouldn't have to fix a brand new item. It does work though.

The item's functionality is good but the casing around the volt selector is falling apart

l found the one l needed for my airband when l listen to planes l recommend this as voltage Watts and size of connectors to fit most of eclectic gadgets. Airband eat the batteries and as a way to listen in car till a plane on its way on coming in approach way, hearing pilot to tower.Keep nice and warm in ur car while you Airband plugged into cigarette lighter socket.,You can charge your rechargeable batteries in unit or play without the batteries. This charger was just the thing i was looking for to supply power to a personal cd player for use in a van that only came with radio and facility to connect mp3 player/phone etc .It isn't too bulky and voltage can be changed with the key provided.I just have this connected when needing to charge cd player which contains rechargeable batteries and connect to the vans speakers via the aux input.One star deducted as first one sent out was faulty .The second one sent out was working good so i am glad i gave it another go.

excellent product works well

I used this for hooking up an android tv box 5v in my car then connecting to rear dvd screens.. worked a treat. Well made cable with plenty of different connections. Only one grope is the cigarette lighter part doesn't stay in the socket too well, seems to slip out easily, at least in my car. Shame, otherwise perfect.
