I'm fairly new to candle making so this is only the second set of wicks I've purchased. I like the wick holder and the stickers seem to work, holding the wick in place when pouring the hot wax into the jar. The wicks themselves im not impressed with. The flame is really large, even when the wick has been trimmed. They smoke quite alot (black smoke) and even after blowing a candle out after the flame became dangerously large, it continued to smoke for 5 minutes and I ended up having to run it under cold water.I would not purchase these again as I feel they are dangerous

These wicks burn terribly and emit a black smoke. The wick also doesn't burn down so you have to cut the wicks down. Using these wicks has ruined an entire batch of candles. I am very disappointed and would not recommend these wicks.

I used these wicks for the first time to make gifts. I was impressed wicks are sturdy and end results professional.Unlike previous products that were impossible to use. Will order again.

Packaged really well, burn exactly how they should and are super sticky! I've noticed other customers have mentioned they don't stick very well, but I tried to remove one (after not quite hitting the centre of the jar) and had difficulty getting it off! Brilliant product and will definitely repurchase. Thanks!

Had so many “bits” of old candles and didn’t want to bin them so bought this kit to recycle my old candles. The wicks stuck well with the tabs and the wick holder worked perfectly. The candles I made burn well too

Good thick wicks but found they don’t burn well at all. Wicks mushroomed very quickly and also had cotton fibres come away from the wick and go into the wax pool which made the candle look quite unattractive. Wick also smoked a bit compared to thiner wicks. I’ve only used 1 wick so far and certainly won’t be using anymore...

Great value for money. Easy to use. Perfect size for a small/medium jar for candle making. Easy stick tabs for holding wicks in place.

the wicks were delivered bend so it's not as easy to work with, even if i stretch them, it bends back whilst the wax cools down...
