It will appear very worn
It is worn and kind of unattractive but hear me out. If you just need a thin blanket for outdoor activities it's very functional there is a citronella smell when you open the bag but i imagine it's to keep bugs away I'm 50/50

Long, but not wide
This is a nice, thin, coverlet for a twin size bed. It was fun to see what design I would be surprised with. Im using mine as a throw on my couch. It is quite interesting to see how it was made. Hours of embroidery went into this one-of-a-kind! I washed mine right away, on the delicate cycle, and I hung it on the line to dry. It seems a bit fragile, but since it was not expensive, I will be fine with replacing it when it becomes too worn out or unravels.
